What would 3PO's reaction be if did find out Darth Vader was his father?

I was watching the beginning of TPM on VHS and they had an interview with Anthony Daniels. In that interview he said "I was very surprised that Darth Vader was 3PO's father and hoped that 3PO never finds out." I know Ani was his maker and obviously not his father but thats how it was worded. So what would 3PO's reaction be if he indeed found out about the truth? Like someone said in another tread "Obi-Wan never told you what happened to your maker"

C-3PO walks in that room where he's looking for an
artoo unit, and finds DARTH VADER.

VADER: YOU HAVE LEARNED MUCH, GOLD ONE....BUT YOU ARE NOT
FLUENT IN 7 MILLION FORMS OF COMMUNICATION YET....

3PO: I BEG YOUR PARDON, SIR?

VADER: I AM YOUR MAKER!!

3PO: THATS NOT TRUE. *SHUTS HIMSELF DOWN*

VADER: *CRY*

 

He'd be requesting a mind wipe

 

Vader
"Obi-Wan never told you what happened to your maker"

C3PO
"Well sir he told me quite enough, he told me Mr Antilles made me"

Vader
"NO, I AM YOUR MAKER


C3PO

"Well, uh sir im terribly sorry but the chances of a half man half machine being.."


Vader

"Never tell me the odds..hooo pahhh" Seach your hardrive memory, you KNOW it be true"


C3PO

"Well sir..no, no its quite certainly not true, thats impossible, Im quite sure of it.."

Dropping to the the bottom of Cloud City

C3PO
"Where can that R2 be? R2 R2! Where are you!?"

 

Sorry boyos it wasn't TPM, it was ANH on VHS where this interview takes place.

 

perhalps I will join the dark side, though I'm afraid the chances of us ruling the galaxy as maker and droid are aproxamatly.............

or

I'm terribly sorry, It's against my programming to become a sith lord.

I doubt he would care much. He seems to go from master to master pretty easily and without complaint. Remember in Star Wars when R2 keeps talking about his mission, C3PO keeps saying that they belong to Master Luke now. And in Return of the Jedi, he willing works for Jabba the Hutt (much scummier than Vader or even Palpatine in my opinion at least), so he'd probably just say "o.k., you created me and are my master".

 

I always thought it was funny in ANH when he says "Thank the Maker!"

 

Yeah. The joke's on him all along.

 

Probably something similar to my reaction - "you've got to be kidding me!"

 

"Thank the Vader!"[/horriblepun]

You see him, lined up for a psycologist. "Darth Vader... my father. Oh, my!"

That's not exactly what he said but, close.



EDIT: So I posted this, then I read the rest of THEFORCEISWITHME33's post.

 

I remember looking at a comic a long tim ago where Darth Vader and the imperials are ransacking the quarters where Han, Leia and Chewie were stying and Vader see C-3PO's mangled divided and quartered body and holds 3PO's head in his hand and realizes who the droid is. 3PO probably wouldn't have known this though.

 

"Oh No! Curse the Maker!"

 

I've been searching the net high and low for this piece of artwork! Can anyone tell me where it might be? I used to have it on my old hard drive but now I don't and I want this drawing. It's quite a piece.

I think there was a comic about this in "Tales: Vol. 2" I've lost my copy, but you should be able to order it at your local book- or comic store.

 

What a lucky 3PO he is! Have a brother and a sister, it's never heard in the history before

Triditionally, to 3PO, "Oh, my!" is probably the reply

 

I agree he would say "oh my!!" & he'd prolly faint. And since that makes 3PO and Luke brothers. Hehe. Perhaps Yoda was reffering to 3PO when he told Obi "no, there is another" when Obi said "that boy is our last hope."
