What would be an ideal Star Wars chess set?

I bring this up because yesterday I once again saw a SW chess set at a corporate bookstore and disliked the idea of turning the rebel alliance into a "kingdom."

I mean making Luke Skywalker a "king" with one move at a time sounds a bit ridiculous and besides he is not a king and neither him or his sister are married to one another and monarchs.

I believe Lucasfilms and Disney should produce chess sets of actual kings from the Star Wars universe. I think the kings in this list would make excellent chess pieces, not just because they are kings, but also because most of them have queens and have armies too, even if some of them are laughable compared to even the Rebel Alliance or the Jedi: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/King

What are fans opinion on this? I'd like to read some opinions. I wrote to Lucasfilms, but as expected I got no response. After all they probably get daily emails from fans.

 

A Clone Wars one could work. You have Palpatine and Dooku as the kings, Grievous and, ooh, Yoda, as the Queens, the pawns are just normal clones and battle droids, the Rooks are heavy troopers or Super Battle Droids, the Bishops are commanders like Rex, or Commando droids, the Knights could be Jedi Knights, Vs. Magnaguards.

It sounds pretty good to me.

 

I believe clone wars chess sets already exist. I personally think that kings and queens from the expanded universe would make excellent chess sets. It would also give buyers a deeper insight into the Star Wars universe.

 

Kings - Yoda and Sidious
Queens - Mace and Dooku
Bishops - Luke & Leia and Vader & Ventress
Knights - Anakin & Obi-Wan and Maul & Savage
Rooks - Han & Padme (in their respective ships) and Grievous & Tarkin (in their respective ships)
Pawns - 10 clones and 10 Stormtroopers
