Whats the longest story you have ever written?

Number of pages in MSWord using 12 or 10 font size.

The longest I've ever written using 10 fontsize would be 70+ and still going.

 

Jedi Go Home is the longest story that I've written which wasn't part of a round robin or other collaboration. I think it came out to be 63 pages in Word at 10-point.

 

Oh man.... "A Long Handmaiden Fanfic," can't remember what size font, Comic San font, double spaces between paragraphs, 240 something pages.

And I just started planning the sequel and it looks like it's going to be a whole lot longer. [face_exasperated]

The New Invasion is 109 pages MSWord at size twelve, with 63'818 words.

 

My current fic, As Long as You Both Shall live, is currently at 330 pages in Word with only one scene left to go before it's completed .

 

Currently, Why Love Was Forbidden in the Old Jedi Order, a collaboration by padawan lunetta and myself, is nearing 450 pages, with likely another 75 to 125 to go, and is currently over 171,000 words.

 

My epic trilogy Destinies Entwined ended at 597 pages in Word at 11 font... I'm currently working on heavily re-editing it so it'll end up more pages than that when I'm finally done.

I've never written anything longer than 20 pages (including term papers) so needless to say- that shocked the hell out of me.

 

My current fic (Betrayal) is 91 pages so far (that's in a 10 New Times Roman font - 135 pages in 12 point) and I figure it's going to be about 130 pages when completed.
Problem is that I hate writing long fics. I get very uncomfortable writing anything over 20 pages. But this fic demanded it so I'm trying not to get completely paranoid about it! Shakes her head in dismay and walks away grumbling....

 

my story, Complications is currently about half way or two thirds or the way done, and it's 195 pages, size 12 font...

my one and only finished story Betrayal From the Past. Though its only considered finished because I broke the rest of the story off into a second part... so when the second part is finished it will be really really long (already 10 chapters)

 

167 pages, Times New Roman, 12 font. I don't consider that too impressive (having written 300+ original story), but I wrote all that in about three months and that shocked the hell out of me.

 

Whereas 150 pages in MSWord, size 12 took me about 3 years on and off!

 

Breathe is 110 pages long at the moment with Arial on a size nine font.

 

I'm currently working on Stolen Chance.

At 12 point, using Times New Roman font, it's so far at 61 pages on Microsoft Word.

 

My current story, "The Past Rediscovered," when converted to 12-point Times New Roman, comes out to 164 pages, and it's 61,643 words and counting.

I think it's time to go add some more.

 

Longest story for me is original fic not fanfic: 300 pages and growing; a series of novellas telling a serial story.

Fanfic, I think, is 50+ pages.

 

My longest fic is "Aftershock". It's currently about 160 pages, but it's not finished. And there are two sequels in the works, "Moment Of Weakness" and "Ascension".

JaneJinn - Don't feel too bad. When I started I thought 17 pgs was huge!!!


I started at about 14-17 pages for story length. Now most of mine avg about 50 pages. But my story "Forsaken and Begotten" is at 72 pgs, 10 pt font. Mind you, I'm only on chapter 12. And if I had to put it into movie terms: We are at about 20-25 mins into a 3 hour movie. And I have at least two sequels planned with more to come afterward. This is my biggest project yet (other than an original work) and hope not to take on another this huge. This is gonna take me years to finish! [face_shocked]

My current, and only, is 90+ and still going. I estimate about 120 when finished.

Right now my individual story, "Down the Sn'aala Hole We Go" is close to 120 pages, unfinished. There's only a little more left on that one, but the story it's part of has many more "chapters", Sn'aala Hole being only one of them. I'll probably end up with something greater than 500 pages in length when I'm finished. Who knows when that will be!
