Why are all the Twi'lek females relatively attractive, and all the males are simply creeps?

Perhaps a good catch mate. Although how many male Twi'leks do you seriously see in the 6 films? I mean, there's the obvious one, but, others...? o_O

Exactly my point. One creep who hangs around a crime lord (who is an ugly bloat himself) and one senator (politician) who gets fed pork chops all day and is just plain old fat. If an alien saw two humans of similar position in our human world, would they think all of the males were creeps?

So again, how many more do we really see? ;)

Ha! Not until now I remembered that your icon is a picture of Tott Doneeta, rather normal-looking male Twi'lek. I agree with your point. :p

    [image=http://images.wikia.com/starwars/images/e/e0/Zhar.jpg]

and Shado Vao who while wearing a strange headdress doesn't look strange on his own

I think that what's realy going on here is that corrupt aliens involved in politics get fat and or ugly.
it's not just Twi'leks. It's also Gungans. I almost thought Boss nass and his fat posse were a different species from the svelt captain Tarpals and Jarjar.
Perhalps it's not so crazy. In the real world compaire a Republican to a supermodel. Would you think Dick Cheney was the same species as Anjolina Joli?

They're not seen in the movies though, same as Tott. (And I don't know how you see a video game Twi'lek as a good lookin' one. :p)

But they do, in a sense, show that people that create these things don't sterotype all other male Twi'leks as creeps.

I was just stating that the majority of Twi'leks seen in the movies are relatively attractive females.
The menn all have sharp teeth, huge temples (depending on the type of Twi'lek) while the females have smaller temples, and athletic bodies. Show me an ugly Twi'lek, and it is mostl likely to be a male of the species.

(P.S.- this topic sems a little akward now, arguing over wich is the "hottest" alien? Seems like we might be taking this a little seriously!)

    That explains it, Thanks.
Maby we will find that there are different races or sub species of twi'lek

also there is nothing wrong with finding aliens hot.

I used to wonder the exact same thing, until it was revealed in the Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds game.

you'll notice that with female Twi-leks they got horn like things protruding from their skull, whereas the males look like they have nipple-less boobs on their head, but the male Twi'leks lekkus are generally larger than the female lekku's

    here's the female

    the male

the males also curl one lekku over their chest. I got a comic where Ayala Secura, Quinlan Vos, and Tholme have to rescue Ayala's young male cousin who was to be the next ruler of the Secura Clan of Ryloth, the Secura clan was the leading family of the planet who got along relatively with the other families, except for one. That family had Morgukai warriors kidnap Nat Secura. But it showed pictures of the male twi'leks and they looked quite "in charge" and quite superior to the females.

The one Twi'lek female I always notice is the orangish/yallow one walking up the stairs while Anakin is running to meet Palpatine at the opera.

    She is quite, umm, well-endowed:p

Yeah I don't understand how female could be a Senator or anyone with power, seeing as Twi'lek society, most females are slaves and the males are the ones in power.
