What's with the trend in penis-shots in movies?

Ok, so it was two movies, but between Your Highness and Hangover II, I've seen more penis that's not my own than I care to.

It also strikes me that the penis is a decidedly unattractive organ.

Are penises in movies here to stay? Why are they so damned funny?

I think it's a nice trend, because there tends to be a lot of T&A in movies. Male sex organs need more representation in the field of pointless exploitation.

 

Was it Ken Jeong again?

 

I was watching Game Of Thrones last night and was exposed to the hairy penis of a would be assassin.

 

Penises are cool. Good to see them getting exposure. We've had no problem showing female nudity for years, it's high time that males finally broke into this female dominated field!

 

I was somewhat expecting Ken Jeong. After all, in Hollywood, the only thing funnier than the first joke, is the first joke told a second time, only louder and with less subtlety.

But no, they decided to add a few more.

 

How are you with seeing movie boobs that aren't yours?

 

I am a fan of boobs.

 

So, are you proposing that movie genre's should expand to include, "hetero-male, no penis allowed" titles?

 

I heard Judd Apatow started it in his movies.

 

Tbh I would totally do full frontal.

 

I think it's a great idea and about time we exploit the male genitalia.

Halle Berry was paid an extra half mil for her boobs on screen. I would expect that much for my full frontal. At least.

But seriously. Is there anything less attractive than the male penis?

 

I've never actually seen a vagina in a mainstream movie. Only bush.

 

The scene in "Walk Hard" where the nude guy walks up on John C. Reilly while he's on the phone is hilarious.

I don't find small Asian penis very funny. Actually, Ken Jeong was the least funny part of "The Hangover" and he's barely funny in "Community".

 

I guess "Your Highness" and "Hangover II" are two movies I won't be seeing. Thanks for the "heads" up.

For the record, the sight of penis in a movie completely ruins the movie for me. I understand it was necessary in "Watchmen" but not in anything else. Not even "Box of Moonlight" which would've been great otherwise.

Fight Club?

 

Seeing male genitals in a movie isn't a big deal to me.

I remember seeing Tom Berenger's penis in the movie At Play In the Fields of the Lord, but it was a good trade-off because of the full frontal Kathy Bates scene.

 

The penis shot in "Fight Club" was of a still photo and was there for a fraction of a second. There was a huge dildo in one scene though, and that was kind of revolting.

I had forgotten about those shots though, as the movie was awesome enough to make up for them otherwise. Thanks for reminding me.

I have been watching all the wrong movies
