When did Dooku become Tyranus?

When and how did Jedi Master Dooku meet Darth Sidious?

Has there ever been a book or comic that has covered this?
I'm interested to know when and how they met and what Dooku's initial reaction was to meetin te mn behind Qui-Gon's death...

 

Labyrinth of Evil covered it to some extent. It was supposedly not long after TPM.

 

That is what i thought. I have that book BTW. Love it.

But Wikipedia also says: 'Even before the Battle of Naboo in 32 BBY he (Darth Sidious)had held several meetings with Dooku to feel out his opinions and cultivate him as an ally.'

Huh?

 

There really needs to be a novel about Dooku during this time- his disillusionment with the Jedi, response to Qui-Gon's death, relationship with Sifo-Dyas, alliance with Sidious and murder of Sifo-Dyas. Dooku is really one of the most under-explored major characters of Star Wars.

 

That probably means "as Palpatine", not as Darth Sidious: Dooku was likely partially under Palpatine's influence even before the death of Qui-Gon Jinn. However, Dooku was not yet a Sith, nor was he aware that Palpatine's hidden identity was Darth Sidious.
