Which is more powerful - hot or cold?

This is an important question which I feel must be decided.

 

Hot physics says so

 

We have a winner.

 

Hot.


If you're faced with extreme cold you can build a fire to fight it. With a heat wave, there's nothing you can do short of an air conditioner.

 

Cold. Cold always wins in the end.

Because heat requires fuel. Fuel always runs out in the end. Cold is the lack of something. There's a lot more lack in the universe than fuel. Also, cold has an absolute, at which point freaky things happen, and that's just cool.
