Who beamed the Death Star Plans to Leia?

I'm working on a fanfic and it's very important question for the fic involved.

Therefore I would like to ask this:

Who canonically beamed the Death Star plans to Leia aboard Tantive IV?

Was it Bria Tharen or Kyle Katarn or someone else?

If it was Kyle, then what are the details? Which book/comic was it mentioned in?

I think it was rebels on Raltiir (sp?). Its on the star wars radio drama. All I know is that they were spies that got ahold of the information and transmitted it to her.

 

Wasn't it someone like Kyle Katarn, or Bria Theren.

In the Kyle Katarn trilogy it was him, and in the Han Solo trilogy it was Bria THaren. It might be safer to go with Bria, unless Kyle is in your fic.

 

The ORD has the Rebels on Raltiir letting Leia know that there is such a thing as a Death Star and the Rebels on Toprawa getting the files to her.

 

I'm thinking it was complicated. The rebels on Ralltiir first found out about it and transmitted the information, then Kyle went in and stole the plans. Bria Tharen and the rebels on Toprawa either stole a second set or picked up the transmission from Kyle, then passed it on to Leia. Or at least that's what I remember.

A Rebel mercenary, Kyle Katarn, stole the Death Star plans from an Imperial data vault on Danuta. He transmitted these plans to Rebel spies in the Toprawa system. These plans were combined with similar technical data secured by Keyan Farlander to construct a full schematic of the Death Star. It was through the efforts of these Rebel heroes, and others, that a weakness was found in the Emperor's most prized weapon.

and then

Bria Tharen and her Red Hand Squadron were the ones who received the Death Star schematics when they were transmitted to Toprawa, and then beamed those plans to Princess Leia Organa aboard the Tantive IV.

So Kyle stole them and Bria beamed them up to Leia.

Oh, wow. I was right. I can't believe it.

 

Wasn't that what the Zahn/Stackpole short story in Tales from the New Republic: Interlude at Darkknell with Garm Bel Iblis, Hal Horn, Ysanne Isard, and Moranda Savich was about, too?

 

I'm glad I clicked on tis thread, cause while I had figures that Bria beamed the plans to Leia from Toprawa, I had no idea Kyle figured into that. I knew Toprawa was involved because it's mentioned in one of the Wraith Squadron books how the Empire bombed Toprawa back into the stone age because they transmitted the plans.

And it's something that'll come up in one of my stories.
