Who is Master Syfadius?

I might have spelt the name wrong, but can someone give me details on who the Jedi that ordered the clones are?!

 

He was a Jedi who knew Dooku. Dooku persuaded him to place the order for the Jedi, and Dooku used him to erase the Kamino archives. Later, Dooku killed him to prove to Palpatine that he had truly gone to the Dark Side.

It's from the book "Labyrinth of Evil" which wouldn't be considered a spoiler but rather EU.

 

Sifo-Dyas is Sifo-Dyas, simple as that.

 

You know that you can go to the Official Site and find what ever character and make sure that you have the correct spelling?

I thought sifo placed the order because he found out that sids planed to take over the galaxy using the driod army. Which would of over whelmed the jedi.
