Gwynevere (or however you want to spell it): Betrayed her noble husband for a night with a knight (teehee!) and indirectly sent Camelot on a downhill dash

Helen: Betrayed her (brutish?) husband for a pretty prince from Troy and brought war and destruction to that great place

Who do YOU think was responsible for the greatest tragedy? Who would YOU rather have slept with?

Now, by "Greater", do you mean popularity, body mass, height, square footage of empty space in certain body cavities... what?

Helen of Troy was married to an older man (Menelaus) and some versions say that Paris kidnapped her but I don't beleive them.

Lancelot was a later edition to the Arthurian legand in about the thirteenth century, and that was when Guinevere got the bad rap. That and from the Victorians.

    I rest my case [face_not_talking]

Oh, well that would be Eleanor Roosevelt. She should have never promised the Emperor of Japan that she would leave Franklin for him. When she didn't, well... we know the rest of that story. Pearl Harbor, Enola Gay, etc...
