Who would win a fight between the Wampa monster on the ice world of Hoth and the Rancor?

I reckon this is a difficult one to call.

surely it would depend where the fight took place. hoth is cold and the wampa is well suited to that. but the rancor is from tatooine which is a warn planet. I reckon it would be best if the fight took place on dagobah with yoda refereeing!

Rancor is bigger, tougher, meaner. Rancor would win without much of a fight from the Wampa.

And it would win, even on Hoth. It's a dozen times larger. What can a Wampa do against that beast?
Unless it has a gate and a skull hidden in some snowball or something

Actually, the Rancor does not come from Tatooine. The Rancor's homeworld is Dothomar.

Seeing as how the Rancor towers over the Wampa, has boney plates about it's head and shoulders, thick leathery skin, bigger claws,a bigger mouth, and longer arms it would make easy work of the Wampa

 

What about if there were a group of wampas against one rancor?

 

Then the Rancor would call his chums and they'd have a Gangs of New York style fight.

Again it would depend. If the Rancor was taken to the Hoth System on a space cruiser then he might freeze when he left the transport and then the Wampa would give him a good kicking.

 

Well seeing as the Wampa is only slightly bigger than a human, then the HUGE Rancor would wipe the floor with him.

Says who? How do we know the cold on Hoth would have any adverse effect on the Rancor? How would the heat effect the Wampa?

It's possible the long hair on the Wampa could make him hotter, but there are lots of long haired animals that fucntion just fine in heat. Look at the Bantha.

I can't think of any way the cold would have an adverse effect on the Rancor. It's warm blooded, it's skin is thick and would act as insulation and protection from the wind.
