in AOTC there was a very good opportunity to show why owen did not like anakin so much but they did not have one scene together! in ANH obi-wan says that owen didn't agree with anakin and that he thought he should have stayed there and not got involved. well when did he say this??? why didn't we see this? and why did owen not agree with anakin? this always drives me crazy so can some one please answer this for me?

Inty Edit: I'm pretty certain you can find a place to discuss this in PT.

Anakin acted like an arrogant bastard, who looked down on Owen and Clieg Lars for not doing enough to save Schmii, even though they had done all they could.

Lars did not wan't Luke to get involved in the Jedi business since he saw what happened to them and what Anakin was like. Also Owen had come to see Luke as the son he never got (for unknown reasons Owen and Beru never had any children of their own).

That is the best explanation I can give you.

Anakin did tell padme that the lars were good people.so I dont think he blamed them.I wonder what happened to owens mother as he didnt seem to really care what happened to shmi(I do get why owen didnt go after her though, because his father was handicapped and owen would have to take care of the farm) and I dont get all thier hatered for anakin as they really did not know him.(as seen in the movies).I'm sure shmi talked about him alot to them.Thier hatered for him is out of place.bad writing or not enough time to include a couple of lines that could of cleared that up real quick.
