Why Are Croissants So Good?

Is there some sort of secret ingredient which makes them so delicious?

Or is the answer to this question the same as asking what's the square root of a million (answer being "No one will ever know")?

Anyone know?

Croissants are mmm mmm good! And all they really are is flour, water, and butter! Although there may be some other special ingredient that I'm not aware of...

Croissants are great!

Here's a story: I went to a back shop when I went to Quebec to get a croissant. It was horrible! I came back and got some of the good ones from Dunkin' Donuts!

My favorite are chocolate-filled croissants.... yum!!!

 

croissants are delicious because of the fresh sweet butter in the croissant dough and melted butter brushed on the outside before/after baking.

 

The best croissants ever are the ones they serve at Burger King for breakfast. If you have yet to experience this amazing delicacy then I suggest you do. You wont be dissapointed, and I personally recommend the croissant with egg and cheese only. It is truly delish and you wont be able to eat just one, I assure you.

 

well they are good because of the fact that they have different textures in each level. that and butter

 

I was in Jerusalem staying in this really cool hotel and when we went down for breakfast the chef would make fresh croissants for us. We would drink hotchocolate and eat these. I was in heaven.

Then I recently had an awsome spinach and feta cheese croissant. Mmm....
