    1. They're in the military.

      They wear helmets regularly.

It's hard to animate hair that is any longer than that.

That, plus its not all of them, just most of them. Some have shaved heads, for example.

Because flat surfaces render faster in the Computer.

yea but Jango fett and all the clones featured in the movies have normal haircuts so it doesn't match up. Not that its a big deal but was it really that hard to just give them normal, round heads?

I love the show but i do hope the animation gets a little better.

Man, you're talking about a weekly half-hour 3D animated show. As an animator myself, it scares me to death the level of quality these guys are managing to churn out! And it's only getting better as the episodes move along.

As for the clone's hairs, well, they're clones and in the military, so I don't see why they shouldn't have the same kind of military haircut. Plus, there are lots of exceptions, bald, mohawk, dyed, etc. And if I remember correctly, we saw a couple of different hairs in ROTS.

Hair takes up space on an already tight helmet.

It doesn't bother me that they are all the same, it bothers me that there all flat tops when jango fett and the clones in the movies have round heads.

As Cyclone said, flat surfaces render faster and the computer, and there definitely is a stylized look to the show. I'm surprised peple haven't been asking "Why is Obi-Wan's face so pointy?" or "Why is Dooku's nose so BIG?"

I don't think its so much flattops as stylized, animated hair. The pointy beards are another good example. It's not like I think that Dooku grew a longer pointy beard between movies. It's just the design scheme.

But Slick was definitely meant to have a flattop. The texture on his hair was completely different than the other clones.
