In AOTC, Obi Wan goes to Kamino and his clothes are obviously soaked by the constant raining. But did anybody notice in TPM after Obi Wan and Qui Gonn swim to Jar Jar's home, when they step inside, they were instantly dry? Is there a reason for this, or is it just simply bad continuity?

When Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon go to Jar Jar's home, they have to pass through that bubble wall, which seems to keep moisture out. Perhaps the technology used also sucks most of the water off of the people who go through it.

while we're on the subject, why don't fish fall through those bubble things?

Perhaps they do - there seemed to be some resistance against them, though, so perhaps fish aren't strong enough to push through them. Unless it's one of those huge ones.

that's exactly what i hate. Yeah, i know it's fantasy bu it makes no sense those huge fish could destroy that city. You've seen how violent they are at little passing-by bongos. Damn. Then again they probably have a shield or something like they used to defend against the droids so what i wrote will be proved wrong by EU.

It makes no sense that "sabers of light" can exist either, yet they do in Star Wars. You just have to let some things go.

The bigger fish on Naboo generally stay down lower, below the levels of the Gungan cities.

Well, they did have that 10 minute scene clearly explaining why the fish don't fall though the bubble, but they decided to cut it...

Yeah that Lucas was probably more wrapped up with visuals instead of paying attention to the fact that Otoh Gunga could be destroyed by those huge fish that dwell far away from the city.

I make a sand castle out of it.

Anyway, am I the only one who noticed the giant fish NOT far away but right behind everyone in the scene where the Jedi meet w/ Boss Nass?

If so, AOTE; if there really is an Opee or whatever NOT far away from Otoh Gunga, then I guess you're right. However, Tusken Raiders aren't far from Tatooine establishments, but we never see them attacking the hovels. It's just... not a big deal to begin with.
