Why does everyone hate Kit Fisto?

Throughout my purusing of the various boards, I have noticed a rather interesting occurence. It seems as though there are quite a bit of people who either hate, or just dislike Kit Fisto. I was just wondering if there was a reason for this. Thanks!

 

People hate Kit Fisto? That seems a little odd to me, seeing as though he hasn't really done much of anything.

I can't say that I dislike the character, though. He has good teeth, anyway....

I suspect that there are a lot of people who "hate" Fisto because there were lots of people who hyped him up even though he hasn't done anything. I suspect it is more of a reaction to those people rather than an actual dislike of Kit.

 

I think there's more people here who like Kit than there are who hate them.

Score another one for ignorance. I think Kit's fine, and his moment with Threepio is a classic.

 

Those that do hate him just don't like to have fun. Odds are they don't favor the prequels either, what a surprise!

He's not my favorite Jedi, but I like him alright, I guess. My favorite WAS Depa Billaba and Adi Gallia, but since they aren't in Episode III, I like Plo Koon and Saesee Tiin.

 

Yeah, I think this thread could have easily been titled "why does everyone love Kit Fisto?", and it's the same answer: he has a small role, it's not a big deal!

Personally, I think it's the grin - people either love it or hate it.

Kit Fisto is the man. Not only he is a great Jedi, but also it is a little known fact that he is a mack-daddy of the ladies.

Most people like him. You probably just saw a bunch of my Anti-Fisto posts or something. I personally think he's an over-rated sack of crap. Sorta like Boba Fett.

BTW, a little known fact is that he was in the Expanded Universe MONTHS before AotC came out.

 

Ok I get the Kit Fisto is a Jedi but which Jedi is he I'm not that good at the names of all the characters in the PT. I know who Yoda ,Mace, Anakin n Obi Wan, Qui Gon are but thats it

 

I don't have anything against him. I like that in Star Wars the extras are actually trained, and not just told to stand there.

 

Yeah, didn't Lucas just take a bunch of martial artists from Australia or something for many of the Jedi extras?

It would be pretty funny to see the Arena battle and have only Mace, Obi-Wan, Anakin, and Padme doing anything.

I never cared much about the character, but I kinda liked his weird smile in AOTC.
