When Obi-Wan goes to visit Jango in his apartment, why does Jango tell Boba to close the door revealing his suit? Now that Obi-Wan is there and already informed that Jango is the template for the clones, what benefit would there be in hiding his suit?
He doesn't know Jango's name, so the armor (and his thoughts) are the missing piece(s) (Zam said something but it was hard to understand).
This is true. Well, he knows Jango's name after Lama Su tells him when they are looking at all the clones.
He does, but not in reference to the bounty hunter he is looking for, although he may have deduced it without seeing the suit before boba closes up, it certainly helps.
His suit is tied to the assassination attempt on Padmé. While Obi-Wan suspects of him, the armor would be the evidence that confirms it.
I find that moment kind of stupid. He is making himself look more suspicious by asking Boba to close the door. Plus Obi-Wan was already figuring it out anyway.
That's why when Obi-wan leaves, Jango tells Boba to start packing. Since Obi-wan did not move to make an arrest right then, he decided it was time to get out of Dodge.
Obi-Wan discovered the whole clone mess completely by chance. He was actually there to find who was trying to kill a Senator, and who he'd last seen wearing shiny silver Mandalorian armour, which is what Jango was attempting to hide.
I remember that when Jango walks over to Boba to close the door, Obi-Wan clearly views it. Come on Lucas!
Yeah duh! Why do you think Obi-Wan goes on then to try and arrest him? He probably just didn't think that was the best time to do it. He wanted to report on the clones first which caught him totally off guard.
