Check out the "announcement" at StarWars.com [face_laugh]

I actually do wish this wasn't a joke. The Willow universe seems to fit in nicely with the more "magical" side of the GFFA seen in the second Ewoks movie. And if this were true, it would also mean that the George Lucas and Chris Claremont books would be back in print.

They are not hard to come by.

I hope this is a joke. Willow has nothing to do with SW whatsoever! It's a different world and mythology alltogether!

Yeah, I know some people says it's Aprils Fool. But then why haven't starwars.com removed it from their website by now. And why did they bother to include all the Willow characters in the Star Wars Databanks on the site? That seems like a lot of excess work for a joke if you ask me?

Its not exactly in the Databank; the link syntax is different:

    Willow: http://www.starwars.com/databank/updates/401/character/thorndrumheller/

    Wicket: http://www.starwars.com/databank/character/wicketwwarrick/index.html

You can only get to them by going through that "update" page, and they cannot be found in the Databank index, as far as I know.

LFL keeps their April Fools jokes around, just for fun. Here's the one from 2001.

Thanks, Rogue_Follower, you really saved my day! For a minute I thought that Willow was really gonna be a part of official SW.

    btw
That 2001 site was really hilarious! :D
