My least favorite scene(s) in aotc are the cuts to 3CPO as his head are put on Federation droid and back onto his normal body. It was supposed to funny but it just ruined the action.

One of my favorites was when Jango was reales those bombs in the asteriood field over Geonosis. That whole sonic boom thing was awesome.

I laughed at Threepio the first time. Even at his lame puns in the arena.

"This is such a drag!" I turned to my friend and said that was the worst line ever.

"I'm quite beside myself!" I turned to him again and said 'I stand corrected.'

I agree with Bib, I hate the fireplace scene. But for some reason it worked in the Imax version. Anyone know what edits, if any, were done to that scene to make it kind of work?

Actually, this has to be the worst scene in the saga:

Anakin and Padme dining - the conversation was horrible and I did not like Anakin using the force to cut that pear for her.

First of all, Anakin didn't use the Force to cut the pear. He used it to lift a slice of it over to her. Geez.

The worst scene in AOTC IMO would be Padme standing up after her fall on Geonosis, no questions asked. I don't like to dwell on the negative, but her quick recovery and knowledge of the hangar just nails this award.

I liked the 3PO scene, and found it refreshing. The one thing I disliked was Padme's attempted scream or hauler or whatever it was supposed to be after she got cut on the back in the Geonosis arena.

Actually, now that I think about it, I didn't like how Padmé seemed to be filled with helium when on Geonosis. First, she falls/jumps with the chain to kick that cat thing, Nexu, whatever it was. She just seemed to fall straight down and then have the momentum to swing. But it wasn't so bad. When she jumped onto the back of the Reek with Anakin, she landed so easily. That column was high up, it didn't hurt her at all. And then she wasn't too injured when she fell out of the ship. Maybe people from Naboo are like that. Look at Jar Jar's dive into the water in TPM. :p

I don't know why Lucas made Natalie look like super-woman. She's not really the type. Anyways, that didn't bother me much. I don't think she'll be involved in any actions scenes in Ep3 so let her just have that little bit in AOTC..

"lol i think i might be the only one who actually laughed at the C3P0 parts.. ah well"

I thought it was pretty funny and I was happy to see the comic relief being done once again by the two droids rather than jar jar. It was gave the move a classic star wars fill. The whole factory scene when I first saw it I really thought that CP3O would get his gold plating there. I was kind of disappointed when he didn?t. Witch brings the question; does any one know when CP3O gets his gold plating?

If this is already discussed let me know where to find it

I hated the way the scene between Anakin and Padme in Luke's room. The acting makes it almost unbearable. Anakin tells her he just destroyed an entire village, and she says(sounding like a 12 year old reading a script) "It's okay to be angry."

    Shut me down!

Maybe it was the script or GL's directing, but it was horrible, along with the scene where she's packing for her trip back to Naboo.

For the "Supposed to be funny scenes" you really have to understand GL's "Humor" and force a laugh.

i'm going to have to go with that scene where anakin is riding an animal that looks like a pear in the middle of the field. painfully cgi.

I liked the c3po things. Just goes to show, I'll excuse lame humor if it's him, but not jar jar.

I have so many where to begin:

    Anakin fireplace (cheesy)

    Anakin dining Padme

Anakin and Padme in the field riding pears

Anakin and Padme looking at the lake with the imfamous sand pickup line

Anakin and Padme in Luke room talking killing the Raiders

Anakin and Padme "confusing" their love just before the execution.

Anakin explaining to Obi Wan why it took him so long to find the speeeder

Anakin telling Padme they have R2 with them and Padme giving out the worst laugh in the history of mankind.

The Little House on the Prairie reenactment Padme/Anakin do as they prance through the dewy fields of Naboo. And the ever-popular C3PO scene. Worst. Lines. Ever. Uttered.

and why do we see guys with messed up haircuts, asside from ewan's mullet. I think anakin should have had two laura ingles braded, instead of the jedi one.
But despite the flaws of the film, it's back on star wars par

ArrTwo, please stop posting like that.

Hmm...I think the fireplace scene was pretty tacky, but other than that I struggle to single out a scene in AotC as the "worst".

The fireplace scene is one of the worst scenes I've ever seen. Other than when I saw AOTC for the first time, I used that scene to go and use the toilet! :) And whenever I watch it on DVD, I spin through that scene.

I hate the line rather and look of Natalie in the scene when they are at the funeral and she says "Artoo".

GL does indeed try to make NP/Padme seem like a "superhero" in AOTC.

First, she stands in the middle of the Geonosis Arena while hundreds of droids are firing, half of them using a semi-automatic blaster mounted on the wrist, and she doesn't take a single hit.

Second, she falls from the ship, lies on the ground, having to put up with a bleeding back injury (which could very easily lead to death), and yet she has the energy to run across the desert area of Geonosis to a Clone Ship, which could be considerably far away, and then rushes into the hangar, expecting to find something to fight, and she is both unarmed and wounded.

Kind of unbelievable if you ask me.

UGH! Lord knows that I hated the fireplace scene.
I swear, on the DVD, after I saw it the first time, I got annoyed by it. When I watched it again later, I just skipped the fireplace scene to the next chapter.
    Hehehe IN YOUR FACE, FIREPLACE!

About C-3P0 saying "What a drag" in the droid factory...
I think it was a good phrase/sentece/line. But, bad timing - he wasn't really being dragged - just "carried".
He shoulda said it when R2-D2 dragged his head away from that Battle-Droid body with his little suction cup thing. I would've laughed then. But when he said it in the droid factory, I didn't really care much for it.

There is one scene and one scene only I do not like in Attack of the Clones...C-3PO's ride on the droid transport in the Geonosis Factory.

If you don't know what I am talking about, I'm referring to the shot(s) immediatly following R2-D2 pushing C-3PO off that platform in the Geonosis Factory. 3PO falls, then we cut to a scene where he lands on a "carrier" droids that picks him up, shakes him, then drops him. I love C-3PO's humor in Attack of the Clones far more than a majority of people here do, but I didn't this scene at all. The CG was bad (3PO moved far more than he should have), and the humor and such were too goofy. If I were to edit Attack of the Clones, I would remove that brief 30 second sequence cut it so that immediatly following R2 pushing 3PO off the platform, we would cut to 3PO falling on that conveyor belt and saying, "What did I do to deserve this?"

That's about it. I love/like everything else in Attack of the Clones :D

I'm debating here.... hang on a sec.

    Okay, done.

I think the scene that made me spit my drink out was when Padme took a "deep breath" then jumped on the back of that, err whatever it is called.

I looked at my hubby and said, well whispered... "Okay, now that had to hurt. Let alone she's running around like a tart."
