Lit Would dealing with the Bando Gora and Komari Vosa have been too much for Darth Maul?

In DP both Darth Plagueis and Darth Sidious mention the Bando Gora who have recently been led by Komari Vosa who is Dooku's former padawan learner, but they dismiss this threat as for another time and Darth Maul is sent to deal with Black Sun and destroy its leadership, Sinya, the vigos, Mighella and Alexi Garyn himself who poses little threat except for wounding Darth Maul's hand, Mighella on the other hand proves to be a somewhat good duelist until her sword is broken and then her force lightning stuns Maul for a moment before he resists and kills her, she fails to recognize Maul as a Nightbrother like Sidious predicted she would, this proves to be a minor challenge for Darth Maul and he succeeds in his mission but fails to sense that Oolth is hiding nearby and he escapes to cause future problems even though Maul saw him and knows he was still in the area.

But personally i wonder if Maul would have been able to deal with Komari Vosa and the Bando Gora threat very easily at all? they seem to be very difficult in the Bounty Hunter game and Vosa is a very tough opponent too, sending Darth Maul to destroy her and her followers might have been a good way to prepare him for dealing with the Jedi, letting him face a fallen jedi that is strong in the dark side of the force and testing himself against her, her wielding two lightsabers and her insanity might have made her a hard opponent to overcome and been a true test of Maul's skills in combat, and sated his bloodlust for the Jedi a little in the process.

Even Count Dooku pretty much told Palpatine that Vosa would be a threat in the future and Palpatine agrees and later has Dooku send Jango Fett to kill her, having a lesser hitman Sith Lord go after her might have been more interesting, a fallen Dark Jedi vs a Sith Lord apprentice would have been a nice match and a good test of Maul's skill, and it might have given Maul something to do besides train all day and be wishy washy about his role in the grand plan.

Interestingly enough, I'm playing Bounty Hunter right now. Been meaning to play it forever, though the mentions in Plagueis made me hurry the process up. Only about halfway through the game so far, since all the time I can spare for video games is currently occupied by Mass Effect and a bit of TOR.

In short, I think he could have probably handled it. Even before Xizor's rise, I've always gotten the impression that Black Sun was far more widespread than a band of assassins, like the Bando Gora or the Genoharadan, especially because they go back thousands of years (The Old Republic). Black Sun was probably much higher on the list of threats.

I'll have to finish the Bounty Hunter game to give a complete opinion, though.

I'm pretty sure if Dooku could infiltrate the Bando Gora headquarters, chill and watch the final fight, then walk out of the shadows and congratulate Jango that Maul could've infiltrated the place and killed Vosa, or just killed everything in his way, then killed Vosa.

    THIS.

The "one-being-army" would have utterly annihilated the Bando Gora.
All Sidious had to do was say the word and not one of them, would have survived.

However, don't forget that the hunt was a contest between Jango and Montross with the winner getting the 'clone daddy' offer from Dooku. If they had just sent Maul then the 'survival of the best' hunt would have had no meaning. And I don't think Maul would have been considered good clone material.

And Instantdeath - if you haven't hit the prison levels yet wait til you do. I died so many times on the breakout and escape. If you get stuck there's an old thread on the game in the Videogame forum. It's autolocked now but the information there should answer any questions.
