Apparently, this was some easter egg enemy in Kokiri Forest.

Wikipedia says a lot of things. It's like tv, don't believe everything you see on it.

Wiki says that there is a gameshark cheat to turn one of the Kokori elf children into any character object from the game. And that while searching through the various character objects, one of them is the Arwing.

The polygons give it away. SNES, all right. N64 had better pixelated lasers.

I don't think it was a finished model for obvious reasons, which is why it looks ugly. It's quite legitimate.

I don't think so---the SNES version is nowhere near that good.

It could be a Starfox 64 loan-model, but I can't tell for sure. The ar-wing is simple enough that it could be completely original.

    Ha!

And as for Al Gore inventing/not inventing the Internet, do your research. He never claimed to have invented it, merely supported its invention.

I bet the arwing was originally in there to test the z-targeting while they were still programming the game. Maybe before there were any other enemy models created. Old stuff that has been cut out of games can still be found in them all the time. Like the island on the dam level of Goldeneye or most of KOTOR 2.

yeah, that's definitely not SNES Starfox graphics.

    Ok, that's cool.

    >>Old stuff that has been cut out of games can still be found in them all the time. Like the island on the dam level of Goldeneye<<

Still creeps me out, knowing it's out there and I can barely see it, across those deep, dark waters...

Definitly, so I guess gameshark is the only way to fight it?

You mean Al Gore wasn't involved in the legistlation that helped to birth the internet?

If Al Gore didn't invent the internet, then why is his picture the symbol for "The Internet" world wonder in Civilization IV? Huh? Answer me THAT!

The only thing Al Gore invented was the campaign against Manbearpig.

What are you talking about "invented"?

The fight against Manbearpig has been going on long before Al Gore. He'a just the only one who is willing to carry on the fight in this age of cowards.

Slippy, Peppy, or Falco should scream "NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!" when the Arwing is shot down and the "death music" from Star Fox 64 should play.

It was called Starwing here. Americans had it as Starfox. Was your N64 also Lylat Wars?

Probotector or Contra, you get some games with different internat names.
