Anyone else playing X2? It is a fairly good space sim game, kinda what I was hoping freelancer would be. http://www.enlight.com/x2/ bad points I have heard of major bug issues while experincing none. The combat isnt as good as it could be, freelancer wins hands down. good points BUT the economic stuff, you can own bases, freighters which bring your goods to a station and sell it, the freighters wil even go to another station if the price is to low. You can buy a space carrier which is around 64 billion dollars I think, it would take my little empire about 3 months to even come close to buying it. Overall a very fun game.
When I first heard about this game and was checking it out, I thought it was an X-Men game. I was so disappointed.
Very true, but I loved X2, so I was hoping the game would be somewhat entertaining. That, and I had heard about some form of X-Men RPG based off the movies coming out, and I thought it was superaccelerated to completion or something.
I agree with you there. I never got to play it on the console, but I tried it on the PC, and I played for all of thirty seconds before I gave up on it. The only next gen X-Men game that I've enjoyed so far is Next Dimension (right title?). It didn't get very many high scores, and it's buggy as a mother, but I really enjoyed it.
I just checked out the rolling demo, this game looks sweet if nothing else. Can't wait for an interactive demo to come out so I can put this thing through its paces, but right now I'll welcome this game no matter what it is. There's been a sore lack of space sims on the market lately.
