I think we should make this a whole new thread.

So far we have AMC Gulfpointe 30 as a place to see it. There is a Thursday midnight showing if anyone is interested.

We won't be able to do this midnight showing with the FanForce. We committed to going with some other people.

My girlfriend and I are up for the midnight showing at the GulfPointe 30. In fact I went ahead and purchased a couple of tickets on-line. We're looking forward to it and it might be fun to get something to eat or coffee (I'm old and might need caffeine to make it through the late show) prior to the movie.

Midnight! I am far to old to make it all the way to midnight. I wish I could though, it sounds like fun.

    Have a great time!

It's okay to me if you do Elizabeth, but you know me and my need to see a movie first. I will be there even if no one is there.

You guys have fun. I'd join you all, but, as good as the X-Men series is, I only sacrifice the sleep for SW and LOTR movies.

Okay, so am I the only one who that "I'm the Juggernaut, *****" was a complete sellout? This is X-Men not the internet.

And theater 15 was annoying as all heck. I almost forgot why I never go to the movies. People under the age of 18 should not be allowed into theaters in big groups.

    So...how was the movie?

With the three day weekend I may arrange a babysitter so the wife and I can go have a look.

I like the movie but you can definitely tell that Bryan Singer didn't direct it. It was a lot more action than story. They featured a ton of different characters that you have seen very little of and the ones who were featured had a lot less in this one.

Parents who drop off there kids for A late show should be forced to sit with them. They might just keep quiet long enough to enjoy the movie. If this is the last stand, it was A sorry excuse to end it.
Next up Superman. Will the man of steel win me over? We will see.

Whatever you do, make sure you stay until after the credits. I went to see it again today, waited, and it was huge.

The extra scene makes a big difference.

And I agree about the movie. Way too little character development. This is most definitely not the last stand. Almost all of the actors have hinted at such, the movie is raking in money, and the last scenes right before and after the credits point to X-Men 4.

I'll watch Superman, and I'm sure I'll enjoy it because of Bryan Singer. But, nothing beats X-Men for me. I'll have to kill someone if there aren't more movies. It's the only comic book I've ever read, enjoyed, and obsessed over.

That's great to hear Queenie :) I'm a huge fan of the X-Men movies so it's good to hear that things are pointing to a 4th movie. I was under the assumption that this would be the last.

I haven't seen it yet, but I will either tomorrow or the next day. [face_dancing]

Yeah, I never truly believed them when they said that. I think that what they said about it wrapping up the trilogy is true. But, I think if they had no intention of making any more (not including the Magneto and Wolverine spinoffs) they would have made it absolutely known in this film. They did the opposite of that, IMHO.

It would be a tragedy for them to stop making X-Men films. The fanba$e and intere$t are definitely there, and the possibilities for storylines are endless. Not to mention how heartbroken I would be. ;)

Imust go back and see it again without kids to enjoy it. Hally Berry is the only one who has said this is her last movie.
I am A Cris Reeve fan and will miss him in the suit. The new Batman won me over so I hope Superman will to. Keaton is still my favorite Batman. Bale did impress me. The ? is who will be the Joker. You cannot replace Jack.

    ;)

"Oscar winning actress Halle Berry has hinted that the "X-Men" franchise may not end because fans seem to want more." (from himalayantimes link below)

"Patrick Stewart says he's not convinced that this month's X-Men: The Last Stand will be the final X-Men movie." (The Link.)

    Possible Spoilers HTR:

This is true, StormMoose until she said what she did in this article:

"And Berry loves her character so much that she says she would drop all other plans to play the character of Storm in any further instalments."

Because of what Halle had been saying, I was fully expecting to see Storm die in the film. I was shocked when she didn't until I saw this article. I think it was more of her not being happy with the way they were doing her character. Now that she's getting the screen time she wanted, I think she'll be much more inclined to take on the role of Storm again, as this article suggests.
