Yoda, Dobby, or Gollum?

Simple question:

Which one do you think was the better digital character?

 

Gollum.

 

You should add Shrek and Buzz Lightyear to this list, as they are both better-looking CGI characters than those 3.

 

Gollum was the most realistic, from a technical standpoint. I also thought his performance was a lot better and a lot more interesting. Yoda: he was just okay. Dobby: boring.

Anyway, gollum was the best example of how far CGI technology has advanced. He was awsome! And soo cute!

 

CGI Yoda was great, but Gollum is...wow.

I know this is a stupid question, but who is Dobby?

 

Dobby is the house elf from Harry Potter.....

I'd have to say Gollum... I saw the movie today and it was great!

 

Gollum was the most realistic, IMO. I actually forgot that he was CGI at one point.

 

He's a character in Harry Potter & the Chamber of Secrets.

If you've seen the teaser trailer for HP2, he's the CG character you see near the beginning of the trailer

Gollum definitely, he did much better than Yoda CGI wise and had 3 times the screen time.

 

Gollum definately. I liked when he fought against himself and the song he sang when he caught the fish and was banging it against the rock. That was funny.

I didn't include Shrek, Toy Story, Ice Age, Monsters Inc, etc because those are cartoons and none of those characters interacted with live humans.

EDIT: And no jokes about 1/2 of AotC being a cartoon

Gollum was good. At some points of the movie, his voice was mumbled a bit, but I still pick Gollum.

 

No Question.

Gollum! I mean, Yoda was good, but he didn't have the same hand-to-hand interaction like Gollum did. And Dobby - kind of funny, but not great CGI.
