Yoda Pepsi Ad

Anyone seen this yet? Kind of amusing. It is amazing how well they have finally been able to render Yoda. He looks fantastic.

 

I saw it. Had my brother, a die-hard Coke fan, admitting it was a good commercial. (Usually, he complains about every single Pepsi commercial on the air.)

It made me wish we'd seen more of Yoda's sense of humour in the PT though. While I don't know about ROTS yet, I highly doubt we'll see any of it there.

 

whoa. I haven't seen that one. My personal favorite is the one with Darth Vader and the M&M's...

I'm so ambivalent about the shameless whoring of star wars...I hate the idea of selling out...yet I find myself caught up in it, buying Frosted Flakes for the lightsaber spoon.

I don't even like soda that much, but I'm sure I'll buy a pepsi just to play the yoda game. Damn you George Lucas and your irresistable selling out!

 

I bought corn flakes for the saber maze, I hate their plain taste, but my mum (who buys our shopping) says I cant have any of the sweet or sugary cereals, stupid food tec teachers!

 

Ha, that was a cute ad. I haven't seen it on tv yet. But then again, I hardly ever see any SW commercials. My sister seems to catch them all.

I got a light up saber spoon from a box of Corn Pops a couple weeks ago.

I do like the Wal-Mart "living Star Wars" one they ran back when the OT DVDs came out. That was very clever.

Yoda looks unreal. I mean, he looks so real, it's unreal to me how they could do that.

 

Just saw the Pepsi Ad for the first time yesterday. I've gotta say it was funny. And here I thought Yoda was supposed to be the all powerful Jedi!

Yes, it is in fact canon. After Yoda flees from the Empire following the conclusion of ROTS, he stops for one last meal at a hyperspace diner. That's why he's so pushy about the food, he knows he's gonna be in a swamp for the next 20 years.
