I know you experts are out there...

what kind of aliens, people, and animals live on each of the worlds in Yoda Stories?

A planet's population varies, since the levels are random. However, there are some commonalities. Each mission planet falls under one of three categories: forest, desert, or ice.

    Forest
    Sentients: Ewoks, Imperial Scout Troopers
Wildlife: mobile carnivorous plants (?), jungle rays, swamp turtles
    Flora: mushroom

Dagobah, the "hub world", also has at least one dianoga... which Yoda makes you kill so he can make some sort of life-extending pendant out of its heart. [face_tired]

    Desert
Sentients: Jawas, Sand People, Ubese bounty hunters, Imperial Sandtroopers
Wildlife: snakes, scorpions, sarlacc pits, beetles, greater krayt dragon (skeletons only)
    Flora: chak root, scrubroot
Mission specific: Halm has a sizable Gran population inhabiting its crystal mines.

    Ice
    Sentients: Imperial Snowtroopers
Wildlife: wampas, bigger wampas, taun-tauns, snow worms (?), ice starfish (?)
    Flora: ice mushroom

There's also an Easter Egg area that I've found before where you're attacked by snowmen. Calvin & Hobbes reference? Who knows...

More info later, when I have time.

Indiana Jones, a 50's sci fi icon, and someone else show up as a random encounter.

As well, there is a speeder that will magically turn into a porsche and take you to a new area sometimes.

I keep forgetting I need to hunt down this game sometime.

    A likely excuse, Yoda.

Because the game won't let me continue without completing it, here is a transcript of the dianoga heart sidequest:
So Luke wanders into some swampy area and finds a (rather emaciated) dianoga. Unable escape Yoda's thrall, Luke murders the innocent creature and rips out its guts.
So do I. He seems to be very much the Galaxies NPC in this game. Suspicious...

Anyway, Luke takes the thump-thump back to Yoda:
Yay! It's a... random... starshaped... thingy. (The spirit heart is essentially the same as a bottled fairy in Zelda: it restores your health if you die. Which, in this game, is never.)

Get in line, Abeloth. Luke apparently already had a creepy stalker: Death.

The [link=http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v332/Rogue_Follower/nearBith.jpg]Y'bith[/link], Hamadryas, et al. are random encounters who can be found on multiple worlds. There's no guarantee that they'll be found on one specific world or, even, one specific type of trading sidequest. The Y'bith might demand a Bar of Durasteel one day and a telesponder the next!

EDIT: I take that back. There is always a [link=http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v332/Rogue_Follower/ysBaboonMan.jpg]Hamadryas at the spaceport cantina[/link] on the desert worlds. He just sort of stands there and says "Yaar... azim!" whenever you talk to him. Maybe you can make that the quote for [link=http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Hamadryas][[Hamadryas]][/link]. :p

It looks as though you have all the planets, except for Tatooine, the Forest Moon of Endor, and the unknown world where the final mission takes place (an ice planet with a cloning center left over from the Clone Wars.) Varn's moon is a gray, cratered wasteland. Luke is able to walk around on it without a breath mask on, but this may be a gameplay mechanic or could be explained by a magcon field surrounding the battlemoon's landing zone. I'll try to get some screenshots of it up later, if I can.

I don't recall Jarsatt at all. Looking at my notes from [link=http://boards.theforce.net/message.asp?topic=19203160]long, long ago[/link], it appears to have been mentioned in the Nibiru mission. However, it wasn't a playable planet.
