Yoda's lightsaber or lightsabers?

How many of these does he have anyway? According to WOTC, the Sithspawn Pic had yoda's lightsaber. Is this the same one he lost, fighting Darth Sidious?

 

Pic's saber is a different one, with a yellow blade (possibly the one Yoda had in 'Force Fiction' IIRC.) Yoda also has a purple lightsaber on Dagobah, according to Tales. And the OT Visual Dictionary shows a different lightsaber hilt of his, color unknown.

He's just a lightsaber hog.

Because Yoda's lightsaber didn't feel like it.

 

What's to say he didn't? You don't get good enough to fight Darth Vader just by getting shot in the leg by a remote.

 

He did make Luke hack bars of silver in hlf for hours on end...

 

Note that Jedi usually construct lightsabers

A) Upon becoming a knight
b) Upon joining the Council
c) To commemorate any other milestone.

So, theoretically, Yoda probably has his padawan blade, his knight blade, a council blade, and perhaps even his Grand Master blade.

Ironically....he may mainly use the first one.

Yes, Qu Rahn got the yellow lightsaber, but lost it to the sithspawn Pic when he was killed by Jerec

 

Qu Rahn's saber that had a yellow blade, was actually one of Yoda's sabers. Rahn's actuall lightsaber was green, which Kyle found and used till it got destroyed by Boc the Crude.

 

Presumably he does, its says that yoda taught luke form 4 while he was on dagobah....u cant just do that verbally...i dont think. I was just never on camera due to..limitations. and retcons lol.

 

How would Qu-Rahn use one of Yoda's lightsabers? It'd be tiny...

Also, in that cutscene where Rahn uses a yellow saber, he steals it from one of the Dark Jedi, I think Maw's.

 

Well I don´t actually think he use it. He just got it..
And I wolud belive that the lightsaber he steals when he confronts Jerec is Yun´s..

 

Inside the Worlds of Star Wars Trilogy notes that Yoda keeps his lightsaber in a chest in his hut on Dagobah. Although released before RotS, James Luceno had read the RotS script at the time of writing, and included a couple of nods to the forthcoming film (e.g., Yoda's hut was partially made out of the vessel he used to reach Dagobah) so I don't think he was unaware Yoda lost his sabre. I guess Yoda constructs a new one, in order to train Luke upon his arrival.

 

Actually, the RotS novel seem to imply that he got hold of his lightsabre again before escaping. It mentions him slashing through obstacles in his path to the vent through which he escapes.

Although the movie itself shows Yoda sans lightsaber during that scene - though he also manages to find a new cloak from somewhere following his escape. Hmmm.

 

This may not mean much, but there's two saber lighting sounds: Yoda's spikt and the familiar spiss-hss. Yoda's saber lighting in AOTC for Dooku sounded just like Skywalker's in ROTJ. The only ones to sound a bit different.

. . . I think.

Also, in the Revan's Death movie, Bastila's saber blows as she kills the Dark Jedi before facing Revan is synchronised to the music beat.
