I was just thinking that last night during the concert. Holy cow those guys can kick some musical ###.

They really are a phenomena of the music world, it'll be a truly sad day when they finally retire. Which is hopefully many decades away. :p

No, you haven't heard "Flight of the Bumblebee" until you've heard me hammer it out with two notes on my electric keyboard. :p

This is true, too, no doubt a very different sound from the full power of TSO bringing the house down with it, though. :p

Wha? I have the entire TSO discography, and there's no flight of the bumblebee. Is it going to be on their next album?

On a Guitar World CD-Rom, one of their players was giving a lesson on it. I usally play parts of the song as a warm-up exercise.

Oh, it took me forever to know what the hell she was talking about! I believe its Trans-Siberian Orchestra? Somethingsomething?

Anyway, I HAVE heard FotBB played and not by these Vladivostokian musicianpeoples, and I'm pretty sure it was just as good.

They do play flight of the bumblebee, it's part of the song "The Last Illusion" on Beethoven's Last Night. I actually like the second half of the song, which is Beethiven's 9th followed by what I think is an original piece of theirs (like an embellishment on the 9th, really). Unfortunately at the concert they didn't play that part, which made me mad, but they did perform all of Beethoven's 5th, so that made up for it. :)

If a bumblebee was conducting an orchestra to perform a representation of bees' lives, that is what it would sound like. :p
