Your political opinion aside, which Politican was the most like Palpatine’s facade as a Chancellor during the CW? I always thought he portrayed himself as a Churchill like Figure

*Please note that this is not Politics bite because Palpatine as a Chancellor portrayed himself as a good leader, not the evil emperor he actually was.

 

Nixon was the biggest inspiration for Palpatine as explicitly stated by George, but as for his facade he puts up I would say it’s probably an FDR.
