I love the little stories about Jeremy Duncan in the comics section of the paper. It's hilarious how close to reality it is. :D

Okay, maybe not the best--but it still owns most. :D

Calvin and Hobbes is the best ever. Zits is good though.

I agree with Erik. Far Side is also better than Zits, but Zits is probably the best thing going right now. It's like Calvin & Hobbes in high school, only not as good and without the tiger.

    Amazing.

Zits is pretty good, though my favorites are calvin & hobbes and far side, and my favorite one that's still running is fox trot, that one has a lot of great geek references in it, especially star wars.

Fox Trot is the best out right now, get fuzzy and zits are both real good ones though.

FoxTrot . . I dunno it's funny sometimes, but for some reason it just feels artificial to me. I like Fuzzy, Zits, Dilbert, and Rose is Rose.

Of course the best comic strip of all time is and was Calvin and Hobbes.

Peanuts will always be the best in my book, followed closely by Calvin and Hobbes. Far Side, Dilbert, FoxTrot, and Zits are (or were, in the case of Far Side) all excellent as well.

    Ones that are better:

    Far Side (retired)
    Dilbert
    Doonesbury
    Bloom County (retired)

Actually, I believe Gary Larson is still making his Far Side cartoons for calendars.

Doonesbury is quite amusing. "The answer to every question from now on will be 9-11."

Zits is funny, though it lacks the commentary Calvin and Hobbes had. I liked when they actually got their van running :)

You notice that "Rex Morgan" and "Judge Parker" are "comics?"
    I don't get it.

I miss the Far Side and Bloom county. :(

Zit's is good but I have a soft spot for Funky Winkerbean.

Does anyone else get Boondocks? I don't always agree with the guys politics, but he's a Star Wars fan and sometimes he throws out some good zingers.

I read Boondocks, it's a great cartoon. I consider it the new Doonesbury.

One of my favorites was when Riley told Huey (I think those are their names) that he was starting to watch/read the news. Huey is skeptical and challenges him with the question "If you've been watching the news, who bombed the world trade centers on 9/11?". Riley answers with 'Sadaam Hussein', with Huey at the last panel exclaiming 'My God! You have been watching the news!' [face_laugh].

Oh well, you would have had to have been there.

I used to read Fox Trot all the time up in Canada, but they don't have it down here. :(

I never saw what was so great about Calvin and Hobbes, well, except for a few instances.

Rose is Rose is pretty funny, but in a nauciously cute way.

Get Fuzzy is funny because of its absurdity, I suppose.

My mother calls every week to talk about how the latest Zits reminded her of me. It's almost scary

Get Fuzzy is the greatest (still running) comic!

I don't think it's the best ever but Zits is definitely a great comic. And I agree that Calvin And Hobbes is the best ever.
