Unfortunately, the solicitation copy for Legacy #9 is incorrect. Issues and artists got shuffled around, and the copy never got changed.

Adam DeKraker (Supergirl) is the interior artist for Legacy #8, but #9 (and 10) is by artist Colin Wilson (late of DC/Vertigo's The Losers and WildStorm's Battler Britain). Wilson also painted the cover for Legacy #8.

The covers for issues #9-10 are by David Ross. The color job on the cover seen in the solicitation is not the final. Time catches up with everybody.

Jan is doing covers and interiors for issues #11-12.

    Randy:

    Between #8 and #9, I will be in heaven. :D O:)

Not to say I have not loved the previous issues. They were excellent. But a long time Rebel Alliance/NR/GA fan like myself cannot help but grin from ear to ear when the GA enters the Legacy-era. :D

    I absolutely cannot wait.

So does that mean that #9 and #10 will be a two parter?

Might as well get this over with. Ah, Calixte's pronounciation is Calix-tay?

Are these issues going to be part of the main legacy story, or are they kind of side storyies?

I seem to recall someone posting that over here after someone else made a joke about Darth Maleval being "Darth Zoidberg", whether it's the same exact Photoshop job or just two people with the same idea, I don't know.

    Hmm... [face_thinking]

Back to the question of Mystery Girl...

If this is the cover, as Randy's remark suggests, then she's presumably a major player in the story. She may be Chak's co-pilot Kee, but she doens't look that much like the one picture of Kee we have... and if she's a major player in this issue, then apart from that, all we have that might identify her is this line in the teaser:

... an agent who has been dormant for nearly two decades...

If we can trust the colouring on this version of the cover, she's a green-eyed blonde, and she may be rather older than she appears...

And then there are those funny markings on her cheeks and chin? Maybe just light... but the pattern got me thinking - a vertical line, and two slanted lines either side of it, as markings on the skin...

Where have we seen than before? [face_thinking]

Is that some scarring on her forehead, hidden by her fringe?

Green-eyed blonde with scarring on her forehead, and possibly much older than she looks...?

Rampant speculation, I know, but maybe it'll trigger some more intelligent responses from the rest of the crowd... [face_mischief] :D

    Hmm? o_O ;) [face_peace]

The markings do not look like scars. Nor do they look like they would be painted on the skin. They instead look like some kind of weird implants.

And I´m 100% sure that she is not Tahiri.[face_not_talking] She could be a 40-year old who looks like 25-30 year old. Not a 125 years old who looks like a 25-30 year old.[face_shame_on_you]

And she probably is not Kee, because Kee looks to be less well endowed when it comes to mammary glands than this character.[face_whistling] Of course, it could well be that the outer apperance of Kee has been changed to satisfy fanboys...[face_plain]

    Rebels.......no....nooo crush them. Rebelscumbacks.
As long as there is going to be war in legacy, I'm happy.
Actually I'd like to see jango fett in legacy. Just his face.........a stormtrooper maybe. Because he actually tried to make a legacy of himself and if there are none of his clones left by 130 after ROTJ, he kinda failed. To bad I think. What I think would be weird and unexpected is that the GA would be using some battledroids.

I dunno. It's possible the 501st have been Jango Clones ever since AOTC, but I doubt they're still pure Jango Clones.

You mean, like a clone of Jango Fett who's chronological age is about 150-160 years, and his physical/biological age is about 300-320 years? o_O

    Sure, why not? [face_tired]

deep breath..........they could clone a fricking jango whenever they'd want! Just go to tha Kamino Cell Industries, get the sample from the databank and clone. Some people here think that all his clones were created 10 before attack of the clones.

Offtopic and Wrong. The Seppies first attacks destroyed the Prime Clone (aka the Template) on Kamino, so in fact they just couldnt clone another Jango. See when you clone a clone.. or nonliving tissue clone madness apparently comes in.
