Welcome to the 2014 (really 2011-2013) Fanfic Awards! ​

First of all, Mav and Bri would like to thank everyone who nominated and voted. At first it was looking a little like there wouldn't be enough participation to even have the awards but you all managed to jump in and we think things have gone really well. We hope you all feel the same.

We'd also like to thank those who have volunteered to give prizes, either by their own works or by commissioning pieces. With out these people we wouldn't really have prizes to give, so a huge thanks to them. They are:

Congratulations to everyone who was nominated! There were a LOT of close calls, quite a few only being separated by one vote. We also have quite a few ties.


We're going to announce two categories per day for all the eras so that people have time to congratulate the winners if they so choose. After all the winners have been announced, the winners will be contacted about their prizes. This is going to take quite a bit of time since we are going one by one, so please be patient. You can see how we are going to go about the prizes in the Awards Guide Thread.

Mav and I just kinda wanted to try this style of awards. The winners kinda get their time in the spotlight. Everything will be announced by the end of the week and we will do a servery to see if everyone liked this style, or if next year something different should be done.

 

Oh hey, I actually won something--my first time ever winning here or even being nominated.
