If you want to learn to make faces, make Bold or italic or underlined text, or highlight, or post in color or post http://boards.theforce.net/forums/welcome-new-users.10181/]links[/link] all you have to do is click the http://boards.theforce.net/help/bb-codes]markup codes link, which you can find within the help section at the header. You can use this thread to practice! jasman Unlocking Edit: Updated links and text above. Skiara-Edit2: Since the bb-coding page is hard to find, I add the needed page here. Have fun testing all codes the old way (writing every code by hand instead of clicking on symbols). Old text/links: "or post http://boards.theforce.net/message.asp?topic=4969392&replies=145]links[/link] all you have to do is click the markup']http://boards.theforce.net/help/default.asp?goto=faqs.asp#htmlcodes]markup codes link at the top of this page, or underneath the posting box on the composing screen."
i have a question- some usernames around here are underlined, in italics or different colors. Is that a markup code or am i just missing something?
Moderators, managers, administrators, VIP's, and FanForce city reps have specials colors. Red and underlined are VIP's - retired mods and mods who have temporarily stepped down from their duties, and people closely connected to SW, like the authors of the books and actors. Blue without highlights are city reps for the various FanForce chapters. Active mods, managers and admins choose their own colors.
and that's not all folks your C drive! but doing this isn't nice: type something here is where you can learn to do this cool stuff
Well...I'm not new but I've never used markup codes before so i guess i might as well practice them here what does block quote mean anyway? ooh! I can highlight! what is a header rule?? There, I practiced most everything. How'd I do?
Angel5000, you did just fine. As you can see, "block quote" simply indents the text, and "header rule" just makes a line across the page. You're learning how to do: [face_click]
I'm not a newbie, but I figured I'd practice markups codes, since I'm terrible at them. I hope this is bold italic, please EDIT: yea! It worked. Let's try another A pic of Han
Wow, I finally know what a markup code is! I wondered what that meant. Let me try. [hi=yellow]is this yellow? ?
