    Bib Fortuna?s End

They arrived in time with the help of the driver of a repulsor taxi. As far as they knew, the Twi?lek meeting had endured for an hour now. The introductory speech would soon be closed and then the discussion would begin. They had to be fast. Hurriedly they paid the taxi?s driver - a Twi?lek, of course - and ran to the entrance of the collosal, almost mushroom-shaped hall. Its shape would have reminded them of the Senate Hall of the Old Republic, if they had known it. Hollòn sent Aranpas and Sarcackss off to the ships with orders to keep guard, and Tii Orp and Löo with them, to make sure they would be able to get away quickly, if the pressure got too high. Hollòn himself and his female partner Gárdàlonë positioned themselves at the foot of the stairs, making themselves ready for any anomaly. Lando the Ithorian went up the stairs - together with Noola, the Twi?lek, and Aldán, the Human. They came to a metal-made front gate, which reminded Lando of the entrance of Jabba?s palace, with the exception that this one had two doors which opened to the sides, instead of one which opened to the top.

    The front door was closed.

The entrance was guarded by two grim looking Twi?lek warriors, who quickly stopped the small group. ?No entrance for any non-Twi?lek!? shouted the one. The other one specified: ?You, Ithorian, and you, Human, are not allowed to enter the hall. Only Twi?lek.? Noola looked sadly at Lando and Aldán. ?I need another one! I?m not allowed to enter the hall alone?? she thought aloud. The bigger warrior nodded slowly. ?But I MUST enter...? she insisted. She looked from one guard to the other...

Suddenly she noticed a familiar face at the foot of the stairs. ?Sienn!? she cried and ran down the stairs to greet her.

Arriving at her, Noola spoke to her. ?Hello, Sienn!? Sienn was fairly surprised. ?Noola, what are you doing here?? she asked. ?Sorry, but I don?t have the time for explanations. I just need to get into the Clan?s Hall. But I can?t enter alone; I need another Twi?lek? so I need you. Would you like to come with me?? Noola asked her. Sienn was irritated, but knew the unspoken law of the Clan?s Hall. Trusting Noola - who had been a friend of hers a long time ago - she agreed. Together they hurried up the stairs. Meanwhile, Noola explained to her the problem they had in short, hurried words.

At the entrance the warriors looked irritated. Two female Twi?lek who desired permission to enter the Clan?s Hall, that was something extraordinary. But it wasn?t against the law, so they let them in, leaving Aldán and Lando behind. The two went down the stairs again.

Running hastily through the tunnels made of stone inside the hall, they crossed paths with several other Twi?lek warriors. They were stopped several times at several massive doors, asked to explain their presence, their identity, and were ordered to give up weapons (which they didn?t have). The tunnels spiraled slowly to the top of the building, in circles, up to the Inner Hall. It looked like in a three-dimensional snail-shell.

Finally they came to the heavy doors of the Inner Hall. The Hall itself was enormous; sitting in several layers of terraces, many Twi?lek could be seen - mainly male?s. They sat around in a half-circle - like in an amphitheatre. (The doors were at the flat side of the half circle.)
The audience was dressed in different, mostly traditional clothes, but most of them wore a hooded mantle over their normal clothing. The people looked colorful - both in skin and dressing - while wearing mostly Clan-colors for better recognition.

Noola and Sienn had just arrived in the midst of a heated discussion.

At the border of the lowest level of benches there sat a mid-aged Twi?lek, who was wearing the Clan-colors of the old, extinct Secura clan. He seemed to be sleeping or taking a nap, regardless of the heated discussion.

This was impossible. Could it rea

Just read the story, good job. Great job, actually.
I'm kinda searching German stories on this board... :) It's always a pleasure to meet someone who speaks your language.

The plot itself is quite interesting, and Bib is a rarity among the canon characters used (yeah, people mostly use Obi/Ani/Qui/Luke/Leia and other main heroes, which sometimes gets boring beyond belief)..

Und noch was, tolle Uebersetzung! :D ;)
