Can it be Darth Malgus? It would be so cool to see him comes out the reactor and yell "I AM YOUR FATHER!"
Revan? No, his kid was Vaner. For Theron, there is a Nother. ... Like, I mean, an actual dude called Nother. Maybe a Ronthe.
It seems canon in a sort of Marvel way of them still using bits and pieces but of it all being subject to substantial timeline retconning should TOR itself prefer otherwise. In particular, I recall some issue with Theron's age not working with the ToP timeline or something?
Well if I recall correctly when ToP was 'published' it was said TOR would be 50 years after the end of the Great Galactic War, so when that got changed other stuff had to change as well.
TOR's timeline is pretty screwy anyway. I think the Great (Galactic) War is still 30 years, with the game itself set some time afterward, I forget if an actual date was nailed down. And part of it seems like they're making it up as they go along too of course. Like Satele- she has one character design in ToP, then her Grandmaster look is uploaded onto the site (and looks slightly old at least) and then they fell back on a cheap Bastilla rip-off/update. Not to mention that means she should be at least 40 or 50 by the time of the game as the trailers have Satele a Padawan/Knight at the beginning of the war, but her in-game model looks mostly like the trailers. And that's not even going into wondering when Satele gave birth. Although the TOR Encyclopedia mentioned Satele's mother too somewhat, and considering the bloodline, most members of the family will have done something or are mysterious. Plenty of names and ideas from early works like ToP and Fatal Alliance have popped up in TOR, just not sure how much has changed over time or just wasn't decided back then. Not that it matters much since a lot of the content either ends one way, at least as far as the rest of the galaxy knows, I can think of quite a few instances where a lightside choice is "do something good but cover it up" especially for the Sith side, so no dialogue reflects the truth. Here's wondering if Annihilation will clear up anything or not, I'm not expecting that much, and sometimes in fiction sometimes a character gets only one important parent, if that. And its not like Theron doesn't already have enough parental issues.
Still, I give the creators credit for trying to weave a coherent narrative so long before the game came out. When ToP came out I think the idea was that Satele was a lot younger than she turned out to be. I'm hoping Annihilation will address why Satele doesn't seem to know she has a son.
lol hah, you're right. Even makes a bit of a fuss about it. Cool. I have no plans on reading the thing, but I like to know things that other people don't know.
