Speculation Ahsoka in Episode VII

They cut it out? I must have missed that, I assumed she still said that from time to time... just like I thought he still called her "Snips".

 

I don't remember hearing it after S1. If she has, it's probably only once or twice in 3+ seasons now.

They've really cut back on "Snips" as well, to the point of hearing it maybe once per season, and even then they're kinda referencing it to make fun of themselves.

 

I just thought of a great idea for a role that Ahsoka could have in episode 7. Once the new enemy has been established, she could tell Luke that the Empire and the Troopers were once the good guys, and she could tell him how she fought along side the Clones in the Clone Wars, and once Luke has learnt about this, him and Ahsoka could go and find a remaining Imperial Officer and convince him that there's no need to continue this way and that things should go back to the way they were, and the Troopers should be fighting along side the Jedi once again to restore peace to the Galaxy. I reckon it'd be awesome to see the Storm Troopers fighting along side the Jedi and the Rebels against the new enemy.

 

I'd rather the stormtroopers be brought back into the Republic off screen. It can be mention in the opening scroll. I am a big proponent of an all species Special Operations Team

 

She definitely stopped doing it around after the first season. Instead she used the more appropriate word 'Master'. Anakin didn't stop calling her Snips, and she hates it as revealed during their fight in the episode when she felt into dark side after The Brother's affection.

About the topic, I don't think that it could serve any purpose Ahsoka returning in the Episode VII (50-60 years after The Clone Wars, assuming that Hamill and co will return). It would be interesting though what will happen with her in the end of the TV Show .

 

While I do not want to see her in EP 7, I see the possibility of her making it in. Not for any in galaxy reason, but because young TCW viewers may associate her closer to Star Wars than anyone from the original trilogy.

 

She could be the love interest for Luke in this film.

 

Ahsoka marries Mace Windu & comes back as the wise Yoda-like grandparents of the sequels.

I can imagine Ventress finding her way into the ST provided that TCW doesn't kill her off. According to Wookiepedia, at some point during the Clone Wars she simply disappears and is never seen again. As long TCW doesn't contradict that, I could see her appearing in the ST. I'm not saying it is a certainty, but it is plausible.

 

I liker her character in TCW, but I don't see much reason to have her in the ST.

 

While there are mixed feelings about having Ahsoka in the ST; how do people feel about having, say, her granddaughter in the ST?

 

They dropped Sky Guy real quick. Anakin calls her Snips once in awhile as a term of endearment / to irritate her. Not in ST, please. I want her go out in a throw-down with Darth Vader on Mustafar in the Series Finale of TCW.

 

Does anyone think TCW will continue past ROTS? Perhaps show the beginning of the purge?

 

That is my thinking to be honest. Explains her loss/absence from ROTS, keeps her young, gives us a new/old leading character for the ST.

 

I don't mind Asoka as a character in TCW but I really don't want her in any of the episodes. I hope that she does not survive the purge-if she does, IMO that would completely undermine the fact that Obi-Wan and Yoda managed to survive...also it would completely ruin the entire idea about Luke being the last of the Jedi, As Yoda said....

 

The only thing I can think of is if TCW retcons her EU fate and has her replace Talzin as the new "mother" of the Nightsisters. Her appearance in the ST could be similar to Yoda on Dagobah in the OT.

 

Honestly, she could appear as a cameo in VII, perhaps on the Jedi council. She's roughly 25 years Luke's elder, so it would make sense she would be alive during VII, assuming she survived the purge.

Whether she should appear is a different question...

 

Ahsoka anywhere outside post TCW?

 

from the moment i first saw her in the theatre i *knew* she would die in this show, adding to the pain and suffering skyguy would eventually continue to go thru, at great length. i thought more people would feel this way...?

 

Ahsoka's story should come to its natural conclusion in The Clone Wars series.

That would be an awesome series finale to TCW, but I doubt they would ever show that on a cartoon. Maybe they could hint at it while never actually showing it on screen?

 

Under no certain circumstances would I see Star Wars Episode 7 if Ahsoka played any role in it. I'm sorry, that's just where I cross the line. If LFL doesn't have the guts to kill her off during the Jedi Purge than they're only undermining how brutal the Jedi Purge was in the first place.

Agreed, we all have positions that won't die and won't change. Needless to say though this thread's future is tied with Jedi Tano... flickering out of existence...

 

While I don't think she should necessarily show up in Episode VII, there is an interesting story that could be told if she did. Imagine being frozen in space or just being outside the galaxy for 50 years and when you come back, you find out that your old master not only had kids, but that he betrayed and killed the Jedi. That thanks to him, the galaxy lived under oppressive rule for 2 decades, that entire worlds were destroyed without a second thought. Not only is everyone Ashoka knew now gone, but the person she thought she knew best turned out to be a monster.

I think that's a story worth telling...just not in a movie.

 

Only way I could see her working is as a Vima da boda type character.
