Full Series TCW bonus material episode discussion (spoilers)

Silly question I know, but what will the canon status of the "bonus episodes" be? The same as the regular TCW-episodes?

Looks like (given that he's wearing a Commander Cody-style helmet) he's Eeth Koth's commander, Lock, from Season 2, in his Phase II armor.

It doesn't like Gree; we see his Phase II armor in ROTS and it doesn't look much like what we see in the Order 66 preview.

I'm not sure. Maybe, but I'm pretty sure that this tree wasn't on Korriban. You know, all these scenes were so fast...

I bet we'll see the trailer soon. After all, less than 1 week and we'll have early 2014 .

 

I've was checking through the TV listings for the UK channel Cartoon Network Too and they are still showing TCW in January so unless things work differently in Europe it doesn't look like CN's contract for already aired episodes will run out at the end of 2013. Is CN in America still showing listings for TCW in January?

Interesting info. I think its been proven that things do work differently in Europe given the different networks its shown on, i.e. Sky in the UK, and different broadcast timings. Also, I wonder how accurate the TV listings are... is it an online listing? Perhaps we'll find out for sure in January.

 

It's on the actual UK Sky box itself, the TV guide shows the next 7 days and there are TCW episodes listed for the 1st & 2nd of January, so unless something changes on the listings in the next week, Cartoon Network will still hold some rights in Europe at least.

EDIT: Just checked on the CN Too website and that has TCW listings for January as well so either both are correct or Sky takes their info from this site and both are wrong. It remains to be seen if anything changes or if any of this affects the Bonus Content.

 

OK, you just prompted me to check the TV guide listings online. In chicago, they have one airing of an old Clone Wars episode on Jan. 5th, but it looks like its during the CN Adult Swim Toonami block?

Regarding contract stuff. It's possible that the contract for exclusive new episodes ends at the end of this year. But Warner will still be able to air old episodes continually if they wish to. So reairing old episodes that they have the airing rights too would not affect Disney distributing the bonus content.

 

OK, that make sense, i seem to remember hearing that. So thus far, its same old, same old.

This wait for Bonus Content feels like being in a Hoth snowstorm searching for an answer with no end in sight. It doesn't help that its cold and snowy in Chicago of course.

 

Definitely. There is no way to know what type of contracts they used for airing. If they are continuing to air old episodes then the only explanation has to be their rights for exclusive new content runs out. Unless someone spills the whole thing we won't ever know the truth only bits and bobs from hearing stuff.

Hopefully this dry spell will end very soon.

 

I don't think they have stopped airing it in syndication or are they likely to since that's really the goal of reaching 100 episodes, to make it viable for syndication and still generate revenue long after new episodes are being aired. Likely from now till kingdom come CW will be on the air somewhere. I'm not sure if the syndication is handled by WB or LFL itself.
