My apologies if this has already been done. I looked in the search engine and nothing came up.

You may be the first person I've come across that has KOTOR II ranked above KOTOR and Battlefront II isn't in your top three or even five!

The reason I like KOTOR 2 better than KOTOR is because of the darker tone (I like darker, more mature stories). And battlefront is overrated (whoa, whoa, whoa take it easy fellas, it's just my opinion, no need for trouble ).

Kotor 2 was the first of the Kotor games I played. For me Kotor always kind of felt slower and I never really connected to the characters apart from Mission Vao. That's why I've always felt 2 was better then 1. As far as the Force Unleashed goes the first one I thought was fantastic, good storyline, good graphics, good force moves and good fighting system. The reason I didn't include Force Unleashed 2 in my list is because it was pants, don't get me wrong the graphics, force powers and fighting system was good but they had so much potential with that game new and exciting planets, new force moves and even new characters. But they didn't they concentrated so much on the graphics and gaming they completely forgot about the story, which for me ruined it.

 

Battlefront is a terrible game and only terrible gamers like it.

I mean, the OP ranks Angry Birds over Dark Forces, which suggests he hasn't played DF or is like 16 years old and missed the era when good Star Wars games existed.

If your top 5 isn't DF, DF:JK, TIE Fighter, Rebellion, X-Wing vs TIE, XWA or X-Wing your opinion is tarnished by being too late to the party. Hell, even ForCom is better than Battlefront or Farce Unleashed.

Force Unleashed II was terrible enough to preclude ranking, and I've not played enough of Republic Commando, Rogue Squadron 3: Rebel Strike, Empire at War, or Battlefront 1 or 2 to rank them.

 

I've never played The Force Unleashed 2, only the first one, but from the demo I played it was awesome. Just listened to an interview with Sam Witwer on a podcast the other day and he was saying auditors came in and decided that the production time of the game should be cut in half, so essentially they rushed to finish the game while they were still halfway through making it. Was apparently supposed to be much longer.

 

You'd bloody well hope so considering it's about 4 levels long and takes less than 3 hours to beat on the hardest difficulty. Seriously, it goes Kamino, Cato Nemoidia, the inside of a frigate and then Kamino again, and each lasts about 45 minutes.

That it was basically cut in half is quite apparent - most of the stuff seen in the trailers never actually happens or appears in the game, for example the planet, confrontation and search alluded to below don't appear at all in the game

*SPOILERS BELOW*



The Empire via Boba Fett kidnaps Juno Eclipse at the end of the penultimate mission, and you immediately realise she's on Kamino and go to rescue her. Your actual search for her in the game involves finding Kota and him going 'oh yeah she's just on a Rebel spaceship, don't worry about it'. It doesn't involve any interaction at all with Imperials.

I quite enjoyed TFU, but then I'd never played a hack and slash game of that kind before (such as God of War or similar). It was above competent - chaining combos together was accessible and enjoyable.

Despite using the same engine and a lot of the same assets as the first game they took a step back in the second gameplay wise with a) the amount of enemies that required quicktime event idiocy to beat,b) enemy variety took a nose dive and c) most annoyingly the amount of enemies that were outright immune to one of either force powers or your sabers was horrid.

You're meant to be one of the most powerful force users ever - you'd think that you'd be able to overpower a Sith acolyte using the force, let alone not get pushed around by one.

How is that trolling? Sorry that you like some utterly insipid games and put mobile games ahead of Jedi Knight; if having this pointed out to you is offensive my suggestion is aim for being better at everything.

Really? You came into this thread and called me a terrible gamer because I like one game more than another, and even a popular game at that. I also didn't put any mobile game ahead of Jedi Knight, just Dark Forces. Which was a game that I found to be meh at the time of it's release. I'm glad other gamers didn't feel the same way because it spawned some of the best SW games I've played. I have yet to play a SW game that I absolutely hated (granted I haven't played all of them), only ones that I found disappointing or to be only meh.
I just made a list for fun and you came in here shat on it. Douche move buddy. You could've just made a list yourself or at the very least read the comments and moved on. Instead you posted something negative and rude towards a fellow SW fan and gamer because his opinion differs from yours. Judging by your posts, you're probably the type of person that views their opinions as facts and anybody that has a different opinion is false.

Played many others, can't be bothered to list because I didn't really like them that much. Wish I had the opportunity to play SWG in it's prime, but alas.

I never really got on the whole Battlefront train. I thought they were kind of weak, the gun play wasn't very fun and felt... hollow? I honestly thought the Star Wars mod for BF1942 was more fun than Battlefront 1/2.

I'm curious did anyone here play Clone Wars Adventures before it was shut down last month? Loved that game.

That was the free mini MMO right? I played it for a short while and had actually forgotten about it until now. It was pretty fun but I only quit playing it because you had to pay real money to get the coolest stuff. I'm sad to hear that it got shut down, probably because the Clone Wars ended.
