Spaarticus, then. The first clone ever grown from the Spaarti process. When they all claimed to to be Spaartici, they were telling the truth.

    I'll take it!

Funny enough, I think Spaarticus would aptly describe Galen Marek and all his clones.

    OK, on with the captioning!

"And Vrixlyss had better not catch you chewing up his roses ever again!"

OK, perhaps a little lame, but it's late and I'm tired. :D

    Just saw this:

    Onslaught at Arda I

Fantasy Flight Games is excited to announce Onslaught at Arda I, a full-length adventure supplement for Star Wars®: Age of Rebellion™!
This 96-page adventure is the first in the Star Wars: Age of Rebellion Roleplaying Game line and explores the themes of desperate struggles, tenuous alliances, and an overwhelming enemy.
Below, lead developer Katrina Ostrander gives a preview of what is to come for new Rebel recruits during the Onslaught at Arda I.
    A Word From the Developer
Following its defeat at the Battle of Yavin, the Empire has tightened its grip on the surrounding systems. Nearby, a secret Rebel base on Arda I hides in the shadows of a twisting canyon known as the Gauntlet, seemingly safe from planetary sensor scans. When Imperial Star Destroyers appear in orbit the Rebels are caught by surprise and scramble to evacuate before they are overrun....

It falls to a group of new recruits to defend the base from the Imperial onslaught. But the real battle is only beginning, as evidence of treachery emerges from the fog of war. Aces and soldiers must keep the Imperials at bay long enough for the commanders and diplomats to scour the base and fellow Rebels for clues. Mysterious devices found around the base may hold the secret of the traitor’s identity, if spies and engineers can crack their encryption in time.
Together, the recruits must investigate the traitor on Jagomir and follow the trail all the way to Ord Radama before precious information falls into the hands of the Imperial Intelligence Service. Onslaught at Arda I will put the players’ problem solving and roleplaying skills to the test in order to whittle down the number of suspects and uncover the real traitor before he can threaten the Rebels once more.

Game Masters can use the adventure’s mass combat rules to help bring the large-scale Battle of the Gauntlet to life, and the Player Characters’ actions will help shape the outcome.
In-depth gazetteers cover a full-sized Rebel base on Arda I, the treacherous landscape of the swamp planet Jagomir, and the capital city of Livien Magnus on Ord Radama.
Also included are all-new adversary and vehicle profiles, including the T-47 sandspeeder, TIE Hunter, Viper probe droid, devlikk, and doran’enok.
Throughout the development process we strove to replicate the epic feeling of such conflicts as the Battle of Hoth or the Second Battle of Geonosis. The mass combat rules allow the Game Master to zoom out and depict the conflict on a grand scale and allow the players to see their actions play out against the backdrop of a pitched battle.
The opening battle is designed to kick off the adventure and the Age of Rebellion line with a bang, but the struggle to defeat the Empire continues even after the dust settles. The question of who or what revealed the Arda I base still hangs in the air.

    Discover the Traitor
    Thanks, Katrina!
Get ready for an action-packed adventure on Arda I. Will you and your fellow recruits be able to uncover the traitor in your midst? Find out when Onslaught at Arda I hits stores in the third quarter of 2014. In the meantime, keep checking back for more news and previews related to Onslaught at Arda I and Star Wars roleplaying!

This sounds pretty good. I admit the art is awesome, the stormtroopers disembarking from an AT-AT look great.

Also the presentation for the Tie Defender: http://www.fantasyflightgames.com/edge_news.asp?eidn=4740

While the art is awesome (as usual), the most important part for me is that FFG brings back the TIE Hunter! I've waited over a decade for this to happen and now my patience finally paid off.

Also I hope FFG will release the Hunter for the X-Wing Miniature game.

lol I read that as "Oversight at Arda I" -- although knowing the Empire as I do, that's entirely plausible!

I'm greatly enjoying FFG's continued efforts to (successfully) aesthetically modernize the rebellion as much as possible. We've come a long way from this:

Yeah, more fantastic art, and huh, never heard of a TIE Hunter before, just read the article on the Wookie and it sounds great. Playing the Gamecube games is still on my to-do list, but oh well.

Also, huh, this place sounds pretty fortified if the Rebel base is putting up a fight- that AT-AT looks like it was blown up, right? Just checking, as most of the time we only see Rebel cells and the main Rebel base, which is too important to leave in one place and to try and withstand a siege led by Darth Vader, compared to this which sounds like a relatively normal Imperial invasion.

Not to mention that beautiful shot of those TIE Bombers and... what do you call them, um, AA guns, right? Hm, to pick this up or wait for the core rulebook, ugh, so much of FFG is tempting.

Yes, I don't think they look particularly "un-modern" either. Actually, considering how dated many late-70s and early-80s movies now look, I think the aesthetics of the OT have held up remarkably well!

Billions have been poured in to thinking about what makes soldiers look cool in recent years (as driven by Call of Duty and the like), and I think a lot of people who are in to that sort of think think stuff like these below look really, really awesome. Hence why the guy on the Arda I book has knee pads and a tacticool pistol holster.

You are (I say) looking for elements to steal that look cool.

    So take these guys,

give them kneepads and quadeye night vision goggles like DEVGRU guys from Zero Dark Thirty

Mix in a little Terminator Salvation

and I think you can produce some Rebels that wouldn't look out of place on a Star Wars battlefield while still allowing people to bring their love of tactical vests and Chris Costa to Star Wars.

Modernize and diversify, which are good things all around. Having the Alliance composed of various groups, species, and units that are not all identical is how they were always supposed to look. I for one cannot wait to see the Age of Rebellion guide.

Come on, FFG, give us a hard release date!

I would love that as well (though, maybe different colors, cause purple and orange is just bleh).

Personally, I would also enjoy it if some of the Mando rebels were dressed in Mandolorian police gear, maybe even one or two in Mandolorian royal guard armor. Worn down and customized, of course, for a proper rebel look.

My preordered copy says it should be shipping next week.

I'm wondering how this Legends/Neu thing will affect fantasy flight games product line? They draw pretty heavily from existing EU, but LFL is saying no new "Legends" products will be forthcoming. Do you think they're just not mentioning this because the canonicity of an RPG doesn't matter as much in the grand scheme of things or will FFG be brought into the story group fold and bring out the first new canon RPG?

Or perhaps I am overthinking. I've been blamed for that once or twice before.

FFG would be a great way to get EU backdoor canonized.
