Except for when his radar sense can be scrambled and thus making him blind.

I can close my eyes. Does that make me blind?

I don't think Daredevil's not-blindness is supposed to be his weak spot. His weak spot is that he's a Catholic.

I'm going to write a fan-fiction where Oedipus is actually Daredevil and has sex with all of his family members in hilarious Mr. Magooesque situations.

He's a pretty good actor, so I'm sure he'll have an unique take on Kingpin for certain.

There's no set "Daredevil airs at this time" on Netflix, though. There is no "original broadcast," except, I suppose, the first time you watch it.

I don't think you understand how Netflix works.

Apparently not; the last time I ever used it was when they just sent DVDs through the mail.

I know a little about it, but I assumed there'd be a set schedule for when each episode would come online.

No sir. On Netflix, all episodes of a season are released at the same time. Get with the times, bro.

They aren't like a tv network. They dump each season of their shows in one.

Wow...that's definitely interesting. It makes me wonder how much longer the traditional TV season release schedule is going to last.

It isn't in danger of going away any time. Traditional television takes time to film. Hour long dramas take eight days to film and then a certain amount of time for post production work. Shows on the premium movie channels and Netflix can afford to film back to back and then air them consecutively or in one lump sum like Netflix. Network and cable shows have longer gaps to give writers time to polish script, film episodes and work around actors who have a film career going at the same time. Plus, they rely on repeats to keep audiences garner new viewers. And then there's advertising rates which help keep shows on the air, while also trying to attract new and returning customers.

D'Onofrio was my first choice for Kingpin so I'm ecstatic he was cast. Not many 6'4 actors who are actually phenomenal at acting. Plus, with Charlie Cox being 6 inches shorter than him, their scenes together are going look like they were straight out of the comics

To be fair, Batman isn't crippled by it. He just his anger into fighting harder, whereas Matt tends to wallow in his failures and has mental breakdowns. Besides, Bruce is most likely lapsed in his family's religious faith even in spite of fighting alongside Zauriel and the Spectre.

Yeah, but you know what's funny is that Ben Affleck is going to be playing by both characters, plus Superman. I'm sure Affleck's experience with Daredevil will have him better prepared to be the Dark Knight.

There's a thread to talk about DC comics movies. Go there to discuss them.

I never saw "Hollywoodland", but I really liked "Daredevil", especially the director's cut. Its so much better than the theatrical version, with a significantly different storyline. Its too bad Michael Clarke Duncan passed away; otherwise, Ben may have ended up doing a proper sequel. I hope he gives Batman the same excellent treatment as Matt Murdock, in and out of the costume.

I haven't seen the Director's Cut, but I did enjoy the theatrical release. But full disclosure, I wasn't a fan of the comic books. In fact, I didn't read any of them. I know, at some point I need to go and read Frank Miller's run on Daredevil.

I hope Netflix/Marvel makes this iteration of Daredevil a badass. Additionally, I hope there is some real cross-over with the cinematic universe, not just references or nods to other characters like Agents of SHIELD.
