Oh yeah, droids. Maybe the ball droid has Luke's midichlorians in it. Maybe all droids do and they all attack the star eater at once.

 

Sounds boring as heck with no real plot. All of those details could be over explained and lead to a stale and boring movie. Besides, I could've made any of that crap up based off the rumors.

Sith exempt from the rule of 2? Yeah...ok. If Palps and Vader truly knew of this traitor they would done away with him immediately.

Han and Leia have 2 kids that live in exile and one of them is with a bad guy from the prequels who collects antiques? Yeah...ok.

 

I don't think when they say sentient technology they mean droids like R2 and 3PO
I think it would be something more overall plot related.

 

Oh gord! It sounds crap to me. Just like the EU come to life. I know the world has changed in the last 35 years but why must everything be a hodgepodge of ideas trying to outdo the next? What happened to subtlety and sweep? There are a lot of ways for movies to progress but they seem to 'progress' too quickly in some directions and regress in others. Oh well, this might not be real.

I think "sentient" technology would be very difficult to pull off in the star wars universe when we already have at the very least self aware droids like r2 who have emotions, reasoning and independence.

 

This person talks about Chewie's life debt and Han's Imperial career. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't that only EU stuff? Now I know that JJ can take thing from the EU if he wants but it just seems like a red herring to me.

I agree about the droids point. Just not ready for Luke's robotic hand to become a cross between Thing from the Adam's family and a piece of a Terminator...lol.

 

Well, it isn't like the Emperor and Vader were particularly good with picking up on hidden force users.

If there are Sith that don't follow the Rule of Two, then it's odd that there's only one. That'd be some EU-level stuff if they revealed a canon Lost Tribe of the Sith, though.

First time I heard this rumour it was said he was from TPM specifically.

 

That info just sounds like speculation info strung together by the concept art leaks. It seems pretty damn fake to me.

 

If MVS was Boba... personally I dunno if I would identify him as a prequel (*edit: prequel specific) character or related to the Sith?

 

Serkis is playing Darth Maul. Even sounds like him.

 

I really like the sound of *some* of this. I think it's probably fake, but there are definitely plot elements that I prefer to more likely rumors.

 

Which is why Bail Antilles might be a better fit. Being from Alderaan, Leia knows or trusts him. Enough to let her daughter live/hide out with him. He has personal beef with Palpatine. He was disgraced from political life and, in a sad sense, should have been the Chancellor.

I don't think it's Boba. Wasn't in TPM. Bad guy. Most likely still dead, or if alive...definitely not the guardian of Han's kid.

But really! Or not. Just reading thru that site, the guys seems to know everything and has seen the entire move already. So it's mostly bunk to me. It's fun speculating though.

 

Maybe he's not Daisy's guardian but just someone she has come into contact with on Tatooine and has no idea who he really is. That said I don't think he's Boba Fett.

 

Yeah, MVS looks EXACTLY like what Boba would look like at the age of 80.

My money's on him being a former Imperial Admiral/General (from previous trilogies) that's using an alias. Boyega being an Imperial & MVS being a former would add an interesting dynamic to the group and... story in general.

 

I don't like the idea of Oscar Issac inheriting the the Falcon and being Daisys love interest. It's like Han dies and this guy doesn't wait for his corpse to get cold to take his ride and his daughter. Also sounds like a rehash of Leia and Hans relationship.

Also I don't want Chewie to have a robotic hand (because I have a Chewbacca costume and don't want to modify it)

 

MVS will be Sifo Dyas? Or darth plagueis turned good?

 

Why can't it just be some clone wars vet that was only grunt? Why does he have to be important?
