All I want is a TCW Battle of Coruscant arc/movie. Grievous got a little better later in TCW, but we need a big story that finally shows Grievous the Jedi-slayer and brilliant strategist. Although Sidious was the one who got Grievous and the Confederate fleet to Coruscant, the Battle of Coruscant is definitely one of his proudest military moments. Not just anyone can waltz on to the Republic capital and run off with the Chancellor. There'd no doubt be a few Jedi Master deaths thanks to Grievous in the battle, which is one of the many reason I think they really need to make the Battle of Coruscant.

The old Clone Wars TV series did it fairly well - but I suppose it could be done bigger, and with Grievous on the deck of his ship outthinking the Republic fleet.

I think they could expand on it a ton, make it a whole lot bigger and longer. There's also the fact that that isn't canon anymore, so at the moment the only canon look at the Battle of Coruscant is at the beginning of RotS, which doesn't give us any look at the surface portion of the battle.

Grievous is my favourite star wars villain and I'd love to see a novel or comic show the very first time he and Kenobi met

I'm not sure he could remake the micro-series battle nor include those particular Jedi, unless it was shot for shot remake which isnt likely imo. I rather liked the micro-series Jedi. I'm kinda partial toward Dark Horse's Star Wars: Republic and the micro-series(not so much the over force powered sequences stuff ).

I have all of them as action figures:

K'Kruhk, Roron Corobb, Voolvif Monn, and Foul Moudama.

Hopefully Hasbro could be allowed to create Tarr Seirr and Sha'a Gi.

Grievous is dead. He's done. It's over. Backstory is fine, but we don't need to pull a Darth Maul every time.

Then can always just make another alien controlled driod like Grevious, but I think the OT era had enough villians where they dont have to use the ones from the PT era.

I would love for that to happen, that was favorite part of the whole micro series, especially Palpy's pretend genre blindness of the whole situation.

THIS!!! [face_dancing] I'd love to see what happened to them after the clone wars. Well, in the EU they were attacked by the Empire, but one of them joined the enemy. I would be interesting to see also this guy...

As for Grievous, I'd love to see his backstory. And no ressurections please.

My impression is that many planets/systems are in rebellion against the ever colonizing and straggling Galactic Empire. Just not every rebel cell is part of Mothma's Rebel Alliance which are more Republic Loyalists, pre-Palpatine's Republic but Republic none the less(Valorum or Padme/Bail types).

Grievious in TCW(canon) seems to have been rejected by the Jedi and opted for surgical enhancements, while in the comic he was more manipulated and coerced into evil service by Tyranus and Sidious by turning him into the ravenous cyborg.

I hope, he is not done. I'm still missing the scene when Grievous bumps into that bar at Mos Eisley. The droid-alarm is released when he enters.

The barman tells him: "Droids are not served here."
And Grievous replies: "I don't obey orders from scum!"

And Grievous orders some kri'gee-beer. And then he coughes. ;)

There was a comic dealing with Grievous's cyborg-ification? I only knew of that backstory from Labyrinth of Evil...didn't know there was a comic.

    Yep :):

    1. "Eyes of Revolution" in "Visionaries".
    2. Partially "The Dreams of General Grievous" (a TCW tie-in).
    3. It's not a comic, but his detailed backstory can be found in the "Unknown Soldier".

    All non-canon now :(.

I really appreciate Dave Filoni, but George stopped being the law of Star Wars to me when so many other authors were allowed to contribute towards the universe. I would choose the EU Grievous over George's Grievous anyday.

    He got MEGA-nerfed. :(

Grievous should be reincarnated by some black magic or some stuff like mother talzin . He could also be apart of some conspiracy where that wasn't him that actually died (a decoy) on utapau and he actually went on to serve the empire with Vader hunting Jedi down after the fall of the republic. Or we could simply get a hologram recording or reference as a "Jedi slayer" or "vicious killer" anything to replace the weak 3D version, they canceled the show right when he was getting awesome again.

No. That would be dumb. Grievous died in RotS and having him getting ressurected would be dumb. Its dumb. Really dumb. I love Grievous but why cant a villain just have their time to shine, die and then make new villains.

Is this inquisitor selection from a new-canon comic?
