People will always make snap judgements. It's human nature.

 

I am perfectly fine with them wanting to keep as much of this movie a secret as possible. They want us to be actually surprised by it and be seeing the entire movie for the first time in the theater. I'll admit this is agonizing but it is soooo worth the wait. I can't wait to see how this concept art has changed and has been worked into the movie.

I didn't say that... but the philosophical idea of what free will even is... is pretty vague. I don't think anyone alive today could answer that for sure or not.

 

Actually I could answer it. But we're moving off topic. Suffice to say, most people have little control over their thoughts and actions.

I think a big thing is that the lightsaber lacked the polish from the teaser, which might seem like a "duh" thing, but without the effects it does look really, really stupid. Like hot iron or something. Just the whole design looked weird and unfinished, which is strange because even the helmet seems changed in the final toy figure. Like, the only thing that stayed the same was the saber design, and that's it.

So yeah, I think there was a basis for not believing/liking that particular leaked image.

 

If memory serves me correctly i'm almost certain that this pic was revealed as a promotional photo taken to be used nearer the film's release, I just can't remember who said it.

Correction, it was claimed it was for a to be released video game.

The EU fans might remember this is the Eclipse Class Star Destroyer, used by the cloned Emperor in Dark Empire.

Nah, its probably just a ship design to invoke a sort of ornamental "battering ram."
