    The Moffs are squabbling amongst themselves, and the someone (maybe even the mystery villain for TFA) comes in, wipes them out, and takes over.

    I've already been on record as wanting an Imperial version of The West Wing (a better political show by far) called "The Inglenook," starring the Dangor, Pestage, and the other Imperial advisors.
