Or maybe you can stop this behavior? If you don't have anything to contribute to the thread besides remarks like these please don't post.

Now let's get back to Aalya Secura.

Stop ? I'm trying to change their flawed and appearance obsessed viewpoint, and since reason is a foreign concept for these people I must reach them through brutal honesty. I did not join this forum to see grown men or women drool over a fictional character on a family friendly board.
When SilentGuy66 made one little joke about Hera (I think?) in a slave outfit or something like that, you all crucified him. Yet only a few people dare say something against this now, even though it's obvious that some people in this thread doesn't care about the character they just simply have a Twi'Lek fetish.

Hopefully they'll see reason and this thread can go back to being normal :)

People are allowed to have different viewpoints on these forums and DarthTalonx hasn't done anything wrong by talking about Aayla. She's a favorite of theirs and this thread is to specifically talk about Aayla Secura and her character.

If you think something is inapropriate such as a post or otherwise then report it, but as I said above your bahavior in regards to this thread hasn't been the best, so if your going to post talk about Aalya and what you think if her character for example. But not about the poster.

I think Aayla would be an awesome character even while wearing a pilot's suit. That was the problem with the Hera "joke," that Twi'leks are not supposed to wear practical clothing.

Did we ever get to see Aayla pilot a starfighter in the Clone Wars? I can't remember.

The only episode I really remember her from was Jedi Crash.

That was one of few episodes I gave a 10/10. I enjoyed her there. She kept Ahsoka from losing her **** when Anakin was injured.

That's a good point. I don't think we ever saw her piloting. Mainly in ground combat or on a starship such as in Jedi Crash. It was always cool to see Jedi piloting starfighters. All of them were very skilled pilots and able to pull off incredible moves. Love those moments when the pilot performs an incredible and daring escape or maneuver - e.g. Ahsoka saving Anakin on Cato Neimodia, Hera jumping to hyperspace through the narrow gap between 2 Star Destroyers, Anakin doing the roll over in ROTS to outwit the missiles. Each of these exceptional pilots also tended to have their own style - even Obi Wan who joked with Anakin about not liking flying!

I haven't seen Aayla fly a starfighter, would be interesting to see her style! Especially given the influence of her perhaps unconventional or quirky Master Vos.

I would imagine it might be a little more like Anakin's energetic, daring (sometimes to the point of madness) style given she was in that age group of Jedi. She certainly displayed athleticism in her lightsaber combat. Anakin of course when flying really went to the edge - loved that line between him and Adia Gallia about how close he would emerge near the CIS cruiser. Aayla displayed a similar style with the whole response to are all Jedi so reckless with "just the good ones". So I imagine she'd be quite extravagant and daring in space as well, though having a little more of the patience the older Jedi like Yoda tried to instill in the youth!

Yes I think she was on the bridge in both occasions. Haven't seen her actually pilot a starfighter in the series or movies, mainly in ground combat or in contemplation. It's always cool to see Jedi and skilled pilots demonstrating exceptional skills and moves in space. All the Jedi also seemed to have different styles, even those who weren't apparently keen on flying (the banter between Anakin and Obi Wan). Would have been interesting to see Aayla's flying style giving her athletic, fast and elegant combat style.

Jedi Crash was a cool episode - displayed both her fighting skills, diplomacy and also leadership and mentor role for Ahsoka. The night raid on the CIS base was cool and her skill to swing and save a trooper was pretty impressive! It's also cool to see other young Jedi like Anakin who are quite energetic and exuberant.

Yes, I'm glad Lucas brought in some cool characters and then added his genius to fit them into the wider story. Both Maul, Talon, Secura, Vos etc are really interesting characters. The fight scene is pretty good, imagine what it could be with the effects of the Star Wars official team behind it! Well you never know. All of Star Wars has infinite potential, maybe we get anthology films or more games to come!

I think Talon is a bit like a dark version of Aayla. That's an interesting notion.

I also like the cheekiness between Aayla and Luminara in the Republic Heroes game. It also demonstrates the interaction between Jedi who are wiser and perhaps calmer (Luminara) and the younger ones who are energetic, still developing.

Aayla was a knight, never a master. Also that last pic looks like deviant art or something, I doubt Aayla ever engaged scout troopers in combat.

Yeah I was not aware of her doing that either..we can live in hope!

I also thought she was a Jedi Knight. Also it was cool as it provided us a perspective on another Jedi of Anakin's generation and thus the youth of the Jedi Order.

It would be cool to see her being promoted. I note that she is present in many Jedi Council and Jedi War Council sessions in the movies, including ROTS. She as an awesome Jedi Knight or Jedi Master either way!

Yes how true. She truly is a lovely, cheeky and fun character. She has that energy about her. As well as being a beautiful female Twilek, she was also a wonderful person who exemplified what it meant to be a Jedi. What a super character and it would be awesome to see more of Miss. Aayla Secura!

Great to see another Jedi of Anakin's generation and thus a perspective on the youth of the Jedi Order. She was very athletic as well. Was cool to see a female lead like her. Hope she makes a comeback!

Part of that pose, is the difference in the human body, and also the stance of the particular Jedi though, right? Not to mention the defensive move to the attack by the bad bounty hunter!

Maybe her posing or rather her style or posture is part of who she is, Twilek culture and just her general technique?

Liked the different Jedi ways of drawing one's lightsaber exemplified in that Geonosis scene. Also Aayla had a cool way to handle her lightsaber in terms of igniting it and putting it away in TCW. A sort of spin it as the blade recedes type motion.

Nope - that way her torso (especially her pelvic area) is twisted is not natural, just how some like to depict females in comics.

Maybe it's natural for a Twi'lek? They aren't humans, after all. Why should they be bound by human anatomy?

Aayla is blatantly made to look sexy, why are we still discussing this? Like it was said a few pages back, it made sense with Oola and Slave Leia because they were taken hostage by a perverted gangster that deals in vices on a regular basis. Aayla's outfit is not very practical... well maybe it was for Felucia, but certainly not every battle she participates in especially not the sandy geonosis, or various snowy planets.

She's twerking to counter Sing, Twi'leks are natural dancers in SW.[:D]

Any close ups of the "prominent belly piercing"?

Wonder what happened to Aurra Sing, she's MIA.

Maybe, but it doesn't seem too bad tbh. And it's possible she is just the more flexible type, she does seem to have a very energetic style and athletic ability. Got to love Aayla's flowing style whether in the movies or in TCW. And did you see the comic above where she is talking to other female Jedi? It's cool to see her as a confident female Jedi Knight, right?

That's a really good point. Tbh, got to love Aayla's energetic, athletic and cheeky style. She is graceful in the movies, and has this flowing combat and technique in TCW. I think Aayla is a really fun character.

Could she appear in another series or stand alone?

Aayla is beautiful on the inside as well as being beautiful on the out. She is a cheeky, fun, and strong female character who is energetic and has a graceful, flowing and flexible technique in combat. Maybe Aayla Secura feels comfortable in her outfit. It seems to be comfortable for hotter climates. Most of the time, on cold planets, characters are shown to be wearing protective warm jackets. Can't recall seeing her on an ice world like that. Even so, Jedi often wore what some deemed too light wear given that they were fighting (e.g. hardly any armor compared to their troopers they led).

I don't think Aayla displaying attractive qualities in her persona or being "sexy" or desirable detracts from her. She is a young female Jedi Knight and a Twilek. It's nice to get a perspective on someone like her, of Anakin's generation. It shows us the youth in the Jedi Order and gives us a view on a Twilek. Dancing appears to be some part of Twilek culture given the Ryloth arc in TCW and even Hera in Rebels as utilized them being known for being desirable (albeit put into that position by Lando) when temporarily on a pirate ship. As for Leia, she also dressed in elaborate and comfortable attire. Same with Padme. This is a galaxy far far away - the fashions and style, comfort of these outfits are all their personal choice right?

I think there was a comic of Aayla being taken as a slave. Even in TCW, we saw Twileks as dancer girls on the Hutt world. With Aayla we see as strong, free and confident young woman. It's cool to see that - she has a highly desirable personality. It would be cool to see her interacting or assisting fellow Twileks in the Clone Wars or on assignment.

=) That makes sense. Twileks are reknowned for their beautiful dancing. Sing doesn't stand a chance, plus Aayla is a Jedi!

Not sure, she's still alive isn't she? Captured I think.

Could Aayla appear in a stand alone film or another series?

Yea, Sing was last seen captured by Tano and Padme and friends. Still, knowing TCW, she escaped I guess.

Secura I doubt would ever get her own movie. And I'm not sure they'll give her own Marvel comic since she was originally a DH created character, still possible but probably slim.

My (pre-teen) son is a huge fan of Aayla Secura. He loved her in the movies, in CW, TCW, the comic books, the Lego games, in Republic Heroes ... and he totally freaked out when he found out that a friend of ours is cosplaying as a blue Twi'lek Jedi (not Aayla, though). Then again, he's also a huge fan of Padme, Zam Wesell, Barriss Offee, Jocasta Nu and Ahsoka :). The only male character in all Star Wars he really likes is Yoda ... because he's cute.

Ah I see. She was pretty bad ass.

As for Aayla, you never know. I think a stand alone movie about a female Twilek character could be very interesting, especially a Jedi. But certainly there is plenty of scope and potential of utilizing Aayla Secura in a movie as a prominent or major character in a storyline. I mean she was pretty popular in what she actually did appear in. And if ever there is another series or televised version of the Clone Wars or pre Clone Wars era, then Aayla has to be in it!

Still, her character profile, a Twilek, a female, a Jedi, young, fun, etc. are pretty great traits to have in an on screen character and could be used for so many stories, whether they be about the wars in Star Wars or the day to day life, fight against the underworld, etc.

Ahh another fan! =) Yes, Aayla Secura is an awesome character - a strong, fun, confident and cheeky character. A female lead, a Twilek and a Jedi Knight, beautiful on the inside and out, having a great personality. It's really nice to see her in the films and she rocks in TCW for sure. I didn't realize she was in Lego games, but yeah in Republic Heroes she is one of the best to play as, being really athletic and flexible! Apparently, as someone posted above, she's in a Wii game as well. I love the CGI of her in the games, it's done really well.

She's a popular character and really fun. Wish she makes a comeback!

All those listed females are great characters. It's nice to see leads as well like Padme, Ahsoka and Aayla Secura. It would be really awesome to see her on screen again! Go Aayla!

Wonder what we would have had if TCW continued. Seems like there was infinite potential for that era, especially given the numerous Jedi in the Order at the time. It would be cool if they launched it again. Were any other Jedi going to be developed in future seasons or is that unknown?

As for Aayla, could she make an onscreen comeback? She's in a couple of games too, and rocks!
