Yes... but, remember that some people see it differently:
TP romance = Rey's grandfather + grandmother
OT romance = not important to the main plot cause it doesn't involve Luke.
ST = Rey + Finn (who doesn't have a last name, so their kids can be Skywalkers)

They also believe Kylo is an irredeemable villain, cause of course, that's the thing with Star Wars, family members that turn dark are mercilessly killed.

Some people also still don't accept that the direct Skywalker lineage comes from Leia, not Luke. I understand people like Luke, I like Luke, but I think Leia is just as much a Skywalker. In fact, the first teaser had the lines where Luke reveals Leia's lineage for a reason: it's important for TFA and the ST.

Now seriously, I like very much how you trace a direct line in terms of romances from the PT to Kylo. I think it makes a lot of sense! I tried to substitute Kylo for Rey, and it is just not as neat since you have to skip or overlook the romance in the OT.

Exactly. Not to mention that OT isn't just a Skywalker romance. It's a Skywalker and Han ******-****** Solo. Han is just as big SW icon if not bigger. All hail Ben of Houses Solo, Skywalker and Organa, First of His Name, Prince of Alderaan, Knight of Ren and Protector of the Realm.

By the way, it relates to Reylo because Driver's casting was intentional. Why would they hire an actor with this hair if not for women to fangirl on?

I read somewhere that Ren in japanese is the flower lotus.
I know the meaning of it because I have had a small lotus tatoo some year ago
( I paste a random explanation I found):
"The lotus flower is revered in Japan for its ability to rise from the dirty, murky waters to bloom into a beautiful pure flower. This process symbolizes attaining enlightenment. The idea is that we can rise above human suffering in the same way as the lotus by moving from the lowest to the highest state of consciousness"

"Like all flowers, beauty is fleeting so even the lotus flower must die. This shows the endless cycle of life, death and rebirth."
So it's not so different from the concept of Phoenix, rising from the ashes.

Great findings,guys!Reylo has actually made me much more interested in the Asian mythology than I was previously.One of the reasons why I love this ship so much!
Since you've mentioned the Dragon being an important symbol I've just finished reading the Revenge of the Sith novelization and Anakin/Vader compares himself to a Dragon and it got me thinking that the Dragon could also symbolize Kylo since he wants to emulate Vader so much.
Here's the actual quote from a heartbreaking vid about Anakin.It's actually something I imagine Kylo thinking as well:

Actually... I was going more for Dragon and Phoenix = Kylo Re and Rey

Whereas Snoke is the Snake in the Phoenix's talons...

Instead of Reylo being all Phoenix, I figured that to stay true to the yin yang concept, one must be the dragon while the other is the phoenix...

This also goes well with the idea of bringing balance to the force... Dragon and Phoenix can either mean a tempestuous union or a blissful one...like the Dark and the Light, when Jed and Sith fight, there is no balance...but the resolving of grey can be the blissful union.

Han is 6'1", Leia is 5'1" and Ben is 6'3". Can't wait for mom and son scene because little mom is going to put her big son in place big time. And hopefully he'll be crying.

Rei of Sunshine that picture of the Phoenix and dragon is awesome because the bird totally looks like Rey! I think the dragon could be Snoke or Kylo. The Phoenix and dragon are also a yin yang pairing (so I read on wiki) and that dragon looks a bit Kylo. Plus, trope-wise, Kylo is the dragon, the one guarding the way to the big bad. But, he will hopefully join Rey and become the other half of the Phoenix and they will defeat Snoke together.
EDIT: I missed some comments while writing this. I see you agree Kylo can be the dragon.

You're so right, he looks a bit like a taller version of both both Keanu Reeves and Charles Bronson and I find both very hot too. I didn't know his looks were common in some part of America,interesting. Not here, In Europe, he looks very unusual to me, but very attractive. I also have to agree that personality is much more important than looks, but I just wanted to say that he is also pysically attractive and those pictures can prove it.

 

The hair, it's mesmerising I agree, definitely intentional

There's nothing wrong with his looks, it's just that most people are conditioned to actors who have traditionally handsome features, and AD is more of a regular guy facially (his body's the next level HOT though). What's called butterface (amazing body, average or below average face). I mean, he says of himself that he looks like a rat and that he didn't think he would get the part in Girls because casting call was for Handsome Carpenter. In short, he isn't unusually looking for real life but is for movies and TV where casting of actors with different, more predictable facial features (chiseled, symmetric) is common.
