ST The Romantic Future of Kylo Ren and Rey

Based on the cut we saw in TFA, it didn't look like a uniform line across the face? That could just be my impression and I admit it's been a little while since I've seen it. It looks like it's bigger (gash-like) across the right check and somewhat thinner up toward the nose and eye? At any rate, even if he has a total gash, it wont change how I feel about him

 

Still not scary or unattractive or monster-like.....

vaderito.....you are right...I can totally imagine Ben as Carrie or the Looper kid when he was younger.

 

His eyes are alright! The scar just went across his face from the forehead to the right jaw bone

 

It's kinda hard to tell if his right eye is damaged or not. I don't think it is, but the scar is really going to look cool I think, especially if that bubble head's scar placement is accurate.

I'm half expected Kylo to have a mask that similar to The Phantom while the other half want him to not wear any masks but instead show off the scar, especially towards Rey, since it was her that gave him the scar

 

this thought is bugging me since that line from Han about Vader. It really affected me.
Being an empath, I tend to pick up emotions and feelings of others and I've always considered it as a doom because whenever I get bad vibes I just cannot shrug it off. When I was younger and lived with my parents I remember getting really upset every time I got bad vibes from them.
It's just the worst thing to know that someone you love is judging you, even for small things.
So, this wasn't me telling a sob story in a cheap ploy of sympathy , it's just that I cannot even imagine what it could mean to read others mind, other than finding yourself in a living hell: self-hate, low self esteem, sense of betrayal and rage.

 

Two things, Snoke is not Grand Inquisitor- he dead, like super dead. Also, Kylo's wound looks large because it is bleeding down his face.

Empaths have a very bad time when they're young, especially when they don't know why they feel a certain way around some people....and I am sure you fell sick or tired at the very least....and some really negative people gravitated towards you (probably telling you that talking to you made them feel better or at least how much they like talking to you).....at least, that is my understanding and experience of being an empath. I hope things are better for you now and you have found ways to block negative people from dumping emotions on you (if that is what you faced).

But I can totally understand why you feel so strongly for Kylo. Every time I read something about Ben Solo and imagine what he went through, it really makes me sad.

 

The wound does look kind of red (blood), but I was wondering, because the cut is from a light saber, wouldn't the wound cauterize and wouldn't it be more of a burn than a cut? I don't know, just a thought.

I really really felt sympathy for Kylo when Han said that his son has too much Vader in him, wow, that was pretty harsh.

Let us take the example of Luke in ESB (I know Mark Hamill had an accident around that time so this was written into the story......but Bacta tanks being used to reduce/remove injuries and scars have been appearing in SW canon movies/books/comics so why won't Kylo be placed in one....gives those who want to see a scantily clad Adam Driver something to look forward to (I like him in the scary black robes any day)..... ) So I wont even be surprised if the scar is barely visible.

Did a FinnRey shipper ask how we would react if Reylo didn't happen?

I'm a mature woman and I'm willing to go where Episode VIII takes me. If I'm not happy with the direction the characters and story takes, I guess I won't be so eager to see Episode IX. I'll be disappointed if Reylo doesn't happen but if the alternative is well done, I'll go along with it. In short, what I won't be doing is having an online hissy fit or start attacking rival shippers. I wouldn't do that now and I wouldn't do it then. I abhor the personal attacks that happen between shippers, it's all fictional and should be for fun only.

I *really* want Reylo to happen and I want Kylo/Ben to be redeemed, but what will be will be, either way.

My theories change WEEKLY in this noggin of mine. One week I'll believe that Rey is a Kenobi, the next week I'll believe she's Palapatines clone. It all boils down to me not knowing and my brain trying to process how someone could possibly fall in love with someone who committed patricide. I do have to tell myself from time to time that this is fiction but my noggin keeps trying to rationalize it because I've already seen what the writers have wanted me to see. And yeah antis would be down our throats and up our anuses if it turned out that Ben/ Kylo abandoned Rey. I did theorize that IF he were to have done this he would have come back for her if it weren't for Snoke. I really need to finish the novelization I'm only on chapter 7. Anyways you won't really see me on here a lot because my theories constantly change. Lord only knows what my brain will cook up next. I really need to chill and just read some fanfics, we've got 21 months to go.
