If it was a different character talking about her feelings, then its not much to worry about either because it's not Rey talking about her feelings, its another character looking at her and thinking something.

Especially because it might not mean anything anyway. This is only Episode VIII. If you heard what you think you heard then they're going in that direction. Period. Rey is the main character, which automatically makes it a big deal. Anything could happen in IX. The point is the seeds have been planted, and if you're right, the sprouts are starting to pop up from the ground. There will be no ship sinking, not unless she's a Skywalker (which she isn't).

 

TMI but I am in such a mood today that I could laugh or cry, if you get what I am saying. So I could probably handle anything!

So let's be logical about it for a sec. The director gave direction on a character's motivation, it sounds like. And the character was Rey. Not sure if she was actually there. Sounds like she was not. It also sounds like this is maybe midway or towards the end of the movie? And we have an inkling that Finn is having a new love interest.
