Thanks, That's interesting... So the force chose Rey for the light side and chose Kylo for the dark side? I assume the force wants to balance itself. As for Kylo's childhood, I suspected something along those lines.

 

I really do like Irish accent...and Ireland seems such a romantic place to visit...I love walking out in the rain...without the raincoat....but I will not loose that bet, and you will come to me!

When you're younger you get overwhelmed by this flood of emotions. You absorb from others like a sponge, it's exhausting and confusing.
You're right about people dumping emotions on you... even though I've always looked more detached than I am and I think that this behaviour kind of kept those negative people you mentioned at bay.... oh well, some of them.
What was hard to me was ''reading" bad things from people I cared. First, my parents, then friends and loved ones.
I needed to feel that everything was okay and that they loved me back.... which is the most unrealistic thing in life, to get that from people 24h/24.
So, I played it cool the whole time because I thought it was bad to be like me. I had to be different, someone else, someone stronger.
Anyway, you cannot hide your true nature, it's too painful.
As a matter of fact, I was quite an angry teenager. Luckily, I was good at sports so I was able to channel most of the anger.
A positive thing was that I had a kind of BS detector and my friends would often acknowledge that I was right about one person or another.
Except for one person.
The turning point in my life, when I definitely became an adult, was after I met someone that was a sort of Snoke figure to me.
Someone extremely sneaky, manipulative, someone that first would flatter me and then would bash me. For the first time in my life I had met someone that completely deceived me. When I eventually saw him for what he was and got rid of his destructive influence (it took me years and after I had hit rock bottom), I was finally able to look inside myself and learn how to set boundaries and that it was okay to be like me.
Now I understand better my relationship with my parents ..... funnily enough, especially with my father
So, yeah, when I think to Ben Solo I feel very sad... and get annoyed when I read people saying that he was probably just a spoiled brat who had no reasons to be upset.

we think Finn will help raise a stormtrooper rebellion, because he seemed to snap out of a brainwashed state at the start, if he can do it, others can too. Theres a reason these are just men and not clones anymore.

 

Exactly... that really does beg the question, doesn't it? I'm no force expert (like Maz), but there's no way the force would want one side of itself to destroy the other side. After all, the light and dark are both parts of the force; the force cannot deny either of them. They need to integrate and become gray Not to mention, Rey is light with some dark and Kylo is dark with some light. They really are yin and yang.

If bacta tanks were that magical, then wouldn't anakin have used it to make him a heart throb again?
