as soon as it's a 1v1 anakin wins easily. Why? Because the jedi always have to hodl back so nobody gets hurt, it's a flaw in their fighting. it's happened many times

vs maul and savage as soo nas kenobi's ally died he got the upper hand

even with the sith, when savage died guess what? Maul did MUCH better vs a sidious that was putting in MORE effort and toying around less.

Also no novel? that's not fair, the novels of the films are canon. The fact that kenobi is a genius means he wouldn't do something as dumb as you say.
That's like saying yoda would take a nap in sidious' office when he confronted him....

Rewatch the episode, savage took them both on 2v1 and they ran out of the fight....

She gets WAY to much screen time, even a freaking NOVEL!

Also the fact she can use jedi mind trick on people who aren't weak minded is a plot hole just to make her look good. I'm glad she's dead. TCW ventress sucked, CW ventress at least had skill and didn't look like a fake clunky fighting style/walking joke.

hell they even had scenes of kenobi checking out her butt and flirting with her...like really? we need THAT in star wars?!

 

Not from me, at least. TCW is delicious Star Wars-flavored cotton candy. It's delightful.

bash fest? no, brining up valid problems? Yes. this is why i dont like talking to TCW hardcore fans, no offense you're one of my favourite users here man, seriously but you get WAY to defnesive over TCW. Like 99% of hte fans do, accept it's flaws. I accept the flaws and still like it, it's not flawless, it's made by humans. nothing in any media is flawless. It's also got good stuff (points to darth maul's arc...every episode with him had at least something good.)

Factually it's canon but pre disney it wasn't meant to be I feel. I think it's a problem, good but shouldnt be canon. or at least take out the 90% of it which is plot hoels PLEASE!

I never really had a problem with Ventress. Until that episode where she can't beat Grievous.

 

The reason they gave Ventress screen time is because, and this might be shocking, bevause they decided to develop her as a character. She doesnt even have that much screentime, not a single episode in the entirety season 2 or 6. And the reason they gave her a novel was because the clone wars got cancelled, and they wanted to show her fate.

And when did she use a jedi mind trick? I might not remember that. Also last reply, i need to go up early tomorrow and have already wasted enough time replying tonight. Maybe i should ban myself...

The fact she beat grieovus in a duel was a big fat plot hole cancer enducing big old dookie on the franchise. Stupid gotham clown strumpett. If TCW wasn't so poorly written she'd be grabbed by the throat as grievous kills her bare handed. Just breaks her neck, no effort. She's trash.

 

I have my own problems with TCW, not the problems you bring up however.

And i agree, nothing is flawless

 

On commander Rex in the film.....and Rex is suppsoed to be a smart perrson. a tactical GENIUS not a weak minded simpleton!

I don't want her character developed, give it to grievous or DOOKU, he's REALLY under developed. Unless you're a hardcore fan he's a walking mystery for most fans....and that novel could have gone to the seige of mandalore...thanks massage temptress you albino skank!

 

Is Dave a genius? No. I's say he's a closer to a fool.
TCW (and Rebels) should not feel like Hogan's Heroes (as much as I love Hogan's Heroes).
There's no tension in the story when you know the good guys are going to come out on top.

Grievous seems to be treated like a character that can just be wheeled out whenever someone needs to made fun of. The whipping boy.
It's pathetic, and almost sad to see how badly he's treated as a character in that series. And the worst thing is that a few offhand comments are now his entire backstory!

 

Pre Disney it was because GL was involved (why we got crazy stuff like Mortis, Maul being brought back, Nightsisters, "Politics", unnecessary changes-Moraband, Darth bane)
I get what you mean though, there were many hints and references to other EU works that are now non canon.

I agree with you about TCW fans. I am a HUGE fan of the show, Dave Filoni is in my top 5 creators. I respect him. But I've also got to have fun with how absurd it is sometimes.

Season 6 did it for me-it was just too Canon bending and downright silly.

That part of Dark Disciple is hilarious, at least. In a secondhand embarrassment kind of way. And also I don't know how anyone on the council could be like "You know what? we need someone who knows how to be a leery weirdo and step outside the boundaries of acceptable Jedi behavior a bit to coach Vos thorugh this. I know! Let's have OBI-WAN do it." Anakin was probably like WAIT GUYS COME ON I KNOW ALL ABOUT HOW TO LEER, KENOBI DOESN'T KNOW JACK ABOUT THIS.

 

Anakin did learn some womanizer abilities after AOTC. We saw that in the Zygerrian arc with the Queen

 

Especially a dark side using BALD evil gothic clown...like who'd find her sexy? And why would he do that in the middle of battle? Let alone o it at all? I don't think pervet when I think Kenobi. Blame the writers for the movie......

I played a game of "take a shot for every plot hole in season 6".....I now have kidney failure.....
